Het blijkt dus dat er clusters zijn aan verzamelplaatsen van Nikkel-sulphide!!!
Met dit in het achterhoofd is het logisch om in beide bedrijven een aandeel in te hebben.
De potentie is enorm.

Ik denk dat je bij Metallis nog flink lang moet wachten op boorresultaten.

Maakt dat uit?
Ik zit hier niet voor short term rommel.
En wat is lang.
Heb ook eerder aangegeven: waar staan we over een jaar.
In de tussentijd gaat er al veel veranderen. Ook met de koers van beide aandelen.

De boorresultaten van Metallis tot nu toe waren in ieder geval zeer slecht.

Waar ze druk mee waren is voor mijn ondergeschikt:
Het gaat mij vooral om de potentie van Thunder North en South.
Dit was eerder niet een omgeving waar ze iets wilden onderzoeken.
Door GGI zijn ze aardig wakker geschud dat ze meer in handen hadden dan waar ze zich bewust van waren.
Als er t.z.t meer bekend is dan gaan GGI/MTS hand-in-hand.
Uberhaupt, kijk naar het uitstaande aantal aandelen bij MTS....al zouden ze het slechter doen qua gradaties bijvoorbeeld dan nog is dat per aandeel uitstekend.
We staan aan het begin van iets zeer interessants, time will tell ;-)
Voor nu is GGI aan zet.

Het heeft echt wel de potentie een flinke discovery te worden. En Elio was er vroeg bij. En, dat mag natuurlijk niet meetellen, maar Elio brengt dit toch vele malen sympathieker dan b.v. onze Cruella de Vil bij Novo...

Persoonlijk zou ik nu niet meer instappen in GGI, laat ze eerst nog maar eens wat aantonen. Maar hij staat zeker op mijn watchlist.

Mts vandaag bijgekocht.
Zit op een lekkere positie van 43 cent maar dit niveau is prima om wat bij te kopen.
Eric Sprott heeft vorige week rond 1,75 nog bijgekocht, haha

The exclusively hard dollar financing at $3.15 per unit is being subscribed for by strategic investors and is expected to close shortly.

The Company will issue a total of 3,174,604 units. Each common share unit at $3.15 comprises one common share in the capital of the Company and one full non-transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share at a price of $4.50 for a period of two years.

All units from the private placement are subject to a four-month hold period from the date of issuance. The financing will include finder's fee commissions on a portion of the placement and is subject to TSX Venture approval.

Garibaldi smeedt het ijzer als het heet is en dat is zeer verstandig in deze sector.
De koers kan nu wel flink wat dalen als reactie op deze emissie.

Management van Garibaldi is door de jaren heen best heel zuinig en verstandig geweest. Deze emissie lijkt me ook heel wijs.

The value of nickel is expected to rise, though, thanks to its use in nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) cathodes for electric-vehicle batteries.

And battery manufacturers are starting to play with the relative proportions of nickel, cobalt and manganese in a way that could help the supply chain. Initially, NMC cathodes were designed with a 1-1-1 ratio of each material.

“We’ve moved from that to 5-2-3, so more nickel, less cobalt,” Rawles said. “8-1-1 is where the industry is looking at the moment.”

Achieving such a mix could shorten battery lifespans, he said. But at the same time it would increase energy density, something the electric vehicle industry is very keen on. Above all, though, “the move to 8-1-1 is [being] pushed by cost,” said Rawles.

“Looking into the mid-2020s, the demand for nickel, if we move to these higher formulations, could be significant enough to push the price up," he added. "That’s when you’ll start potentially seeing nickel-cobalt projects coming on-line.”

8 miljoen dit keer.
Volgende week horen we waar de 2 miljoen heen gegaan is.
Dan assays, hopelijk ook in de loop van volgende week.
Heb overigens bijgekocht begin deze week aan 3,42.

Garibaldi answers some questions and jumps another 33%

Garibaldi Resources (TSXV:GGI) issued a news release this morning that answered some of my questions in yesterday's post. They've now drilled an additional 11 holes since EL-17-01 (3,000m in total) and all of those holes have intersected "broad sections of disseminated to blebby net textures sulphides (pyrrhotite-pentlandite-chalcopyrite), hosted in olivine gabbro".

To the company's credit, they have also posted more than 20 pictures of core samples from the E&L drill program and pictures showing the rugged terrain on their website (link). I commend that kind of disclosure and transparency. The core highlights various intercepts with massive sulphides, which should carry good nickel and copper grades. But, the question remains how broad are the massive sulphide zones versus the disseminated sulphide zones, which may not contain enough mineralization to be economic. So, while I appreciate the additional information from the company, on the assay results will start to provide a true sense of what Garibaldi has discovered. Today's news release indicated that assay results will be released as they become available in the second half of this month. In other words, we could see actual results as early as next week.

Today's release fueled excitement in GGI, with the share price closing up 33% at $3.57 with over 6 million shares traded in Canada. The high of the day was $4.20, at which point those who bought on Wednesday would have doubled their money. For those lucky enough to have bought a few months ago, you now have a 20-bagger without a single batch of assays results.

I've been on the sidelines watching Novo Resources, GT Gold, and Garibaldi because I prefer certainty over speculation. However, grassroots exploration is clearly where the massive action is in the junior mining market right now. Therefore, the next time I see a good drill result with the potential for a new discovery you can bet that I will be jumping into the action posthaste and suggest others consider doing the same!
