Nadat werd gezegd om de groeten te doen aan Shinzo zei hij met een smalende glimlach: ''I'm sure he's happy about tariffs on his cars. Go ahead.''

Na een onduidelijke zin of twee - de journalist sprak met een super zwaar accent en was moeilijk verstaanbaar - zegt Trump: ''I don't, I really don't understand you.'', waarna hij weer de lichaamstaal aanneemt van een iemand die probeert te luisteren. Hoofd weg van de microfoon en oor ietwat richting de Japanse journalist.

Journalist probeert weer zijn vraag te communiceren. Trump pikt op dat de vraag om handel gaat. Koppelt voor de zekerheid even terug: ''Trade with Japan?''

Daarna begint hij door te zeggen dat Japan een ''great country'' is en zegt tegen de journalist ''you have a great prime minister'', en geeft antwoord op de vraag over handel met Japan.

Vergelijk dit even met jouw voorstelling van zaken. Het is eigenlijk niet te geloven.

Hier zullen de Trump-bashers niet blij mee zijn. Ik vind het een geweldig gebaar en hoop dat als Trump inderdaad naar Nederland komt de Nederlanders die niet anders doen dan met het vingertje omhoog rondlopen zich zullen inhouden.

De Nederlandse kunstverzamelaar Bert Kreuk geeft de wereldberoemde en iconische D-day-vlag van landingsboot 60 terug aan Amerika. De Rotterdammer hecht er wel aan dat president Trump het iconische dundoek in Nederland komt ophalen. En het zou er zomaar van kunnen komen. Er wordt gesproken over volgend jaar juni, vlak voor de plechtige 75e herdenking van D-day.

Hij wordt eerst nog uitgelachen en overal nog vriendelijk onthaald tot dat blijkt dat steeds meer mensen in hem beginnen te geloven en dan slaat te paniek gigantisch toe bij de democraten.

Multinationals pompen miljarden in Hillary en ze geven hun media bedrijven de opdracht om Trump totaal te vernietigen in de media.
Maar als een wonder wint Trump gewoon de verkiezingen.

En al snel blijkt dat de laatste hoop van de democraten, dat Trump na zijn overwinning wel zou inbinden, niet uitkomt.
Als een pitbull blijft hij vasthouden aan zijn beloftes, nafta gaat van tafel, China wordt aangepakt, de grenzen gaan dicht, criminele gelukzoekers worden het land uitgegooid, honderden bureaucratische regeltjes worden versoepeld, enz enz.

De eerste president die alles probeert na te komen wat hij heeft beloofd.

Hilary is niet fris. Maar de GOP Republikeinen zijn nog veel erger met steun van banken, wallstreet, de kerk, de Koch brothers etc.

Eerst zagen ze Trump niet zo zitten maar nu hij gewoon hun oerconservatieve en rechtse agenda erdoorheen jast, op zijn eigen botte manier, vinden ze het allemaal prima. Eigenlijk gewoon een soort Bush III maar dan anders.

De beloften die Trump heeft gemaakt richting kiezer komt echter niks van terecht.
neem nou:
- investeren in infrastructuur, er is juist op bezuinigd..
- beter en goedkoper zorgstelsel, niets van terecht gekomen
- financiële wereld aanpakken, drain the swamp, juist hele boel gedereguleerd, GOP zit er tot zijn nek in
- staatsschuld reduceren, juist weer een toenemend tekort sinds Trump, ondanks hoogconjuctuur
- de muur en mexico die gaat betalen..Yeah right..

Maar voor jou en vele kiezers in de US (wel al beide verkiezingen de minderheid trouwens, want democraten hebben al 2 x meer stemmen) maakt het niet uit.

Zij vinden het vooral om persoonlijke redenen fijn dat Obama weg is en kijken op naar een sterke harde leider, ook al schieten ze er zelf geen zak mee op.
