Before Michael Cohen's testimony last week, he and Adam Schiff met for TEN hours. But last Sunday, Schiff told CBS his only contact with Cohen was to "invite him to testify" and "allay concerns."

Really? That took 10 hours?

We need answers. Did Democrats lead the witness?

In a Statement :

President Trump hurt millions of Americans and caused widespread chaos when he recklessly shut down the government to try to get his expensive and ineffective wall, which he promised would be paid for by Mexico.

Congress refused to fund this wall and he was forced to admit defeat and reopen the government.

The same thing will repeat itself if he tries this again.

We hope he learned his lesson.

ik dacht een uurtje of zo te wachten zodat de onderbouwing voor de stelling van de heer 38 geplaatst kon worden, rekening houdend met de tijd nodig om die additionle info te verwerken.

Het lijkt erop dat de heer 38 nog niet helemaal klaar is met zijn verdieping, dus geef ik hem nog een uur. Maar dan hoop ik toch van mijn stoel te vallen van verbazing.

Trump proposes $4.7 trillion budget with domestic cuts, $8.6 billion in new funding for border wall

En het breekt de belofte dat er niet gesneden zou worden in sociale programmas als Medicare en Medicaid.

May 2015: “I’m not going to cut Social Security like every other Republican and I’m not going to cut Medicare or Medicaid.”

2017: “President Trump’s first major budget proposal on Tuesday will include massive cuts to Medicaid….Trump’s budget plan would follow through on a bill passed by House Republicans to cut more than $800 billion over 10 years. The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that this could cut off Medicaid benefits for about 10 million people over the next decade.”

2019: Trump for the first time calls for cutting $845 billion from Medicare, the popular health care program for the elderly that in the past he had largely said he would protect.
His budget would also propose a major overhaul of Medicaid, the health care program for low-income Americans run jointly with states, by turning more power over to states. This would save $241 billion over 10 years.

Other agencies, particularly the Environmental Protection Agency, State Department, Transportation Department, and Interior Department, would see their budgets severely reduced.

Hoe staat dit in verhouding?
Welnu, in onderstaand verhaal is dat uitgesplitst. Wat blijkt? De debt neemt dramatisch toe wanneer een oorlog is en/of een depressie/recessie.
Onder Reagan werd voor het eerst 'trickle down economics' uitgeprobeert. Dat was geen goed idee. Belasting verlagen, OK, maar dan samen met budgetfreeze. Niet met budget expansion. 'Greed is good' weet u nog? Laffer curve? Supply Side Economics?

En wat doet de trump clup? Laffer curve, belastingen verlagen en meer uitgeven.
