The House Judiciary Committee intends to authorize subpoenas to 12 of former special counsel Robert Mueller's witnesses — including President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, his former deputy Rod Rosenstein, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former chief of staff John Kelly and former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Each of the witnesses provided crucial testimony to Mueller about Trump's efforts to thwart the Russia investigation, and the committee's efforts are certain to meet resistance from a White House that has already blocked testimony from senior aides, like former counsel Don McGahn and former Trump adviser Hope Hicks.

The likely subpoena targets also include two executives of American Media Inc. — Dylan Howard and David Pecker — who testified about Trump's alleged hush money payments to a woman who accused him of an extramarital affair before the election. And it includes current and former Trump administration officials Rick Dearborn, Jody Hunt and Rob Porter.

Michael Flynn will not testify against his former business partner at a trial starting in Alexandria federal court next week because prosecutors no longer believe his version of events, according to recently unsealed court filings.

“The government does not plan to call Flynn as a witness,” prosecutors wrote in a motion filed last week and unsealed Tuesday.

Flynn, President Trump’s onetime National Security Advisor, had been expected to be a key witness in the trial of Bijan Rafiekian, with whom he ran a consulting business. Flynn’s sentencing in his own criminal case has been on hold pending that cooperation.

An unsealed response from defense attorneys includes an email which prosecutors ended by saying they “do not necessarily agree” with Flynn’s “characterizations” of how he came to make an inaccurate filing under the Foreign Agent Registration Act for an influence campaign that benefited the Turkish government. According to the email, Flynn says he did not provide false information to his attorneys at the time, did not read the FARA filing before signing it and was not aware that it contained falsehoods.

In their filing, lawyers for Rafiekian say they “interpreted the email’s final sentence as a euphemism for, ‘we’ve concluded [Flynn] is lying.’”

The decision by prosecutors could imperil Flynn’s ability to avoid incarceration for lying to the FBI unless he is pardoned by Trump.

De Democraten hebben ruim 30 subpoenas(dagvaardingen) ingediend bij de Trump Organisatie om financiele documenten uiterlijk 29 Juli in te leveren. Het gaat om te onderzoeken of buitenlandse regeringen de Trump organisatie betalen.

Gisteren(Maandag) is Trump hiertegen in hoger beroep gegaan.
Afwachten wat de beslissing in hoger beroep wordt.

Prager University is the viral social media video enterprise of anti-LGBTQ figure Dennis Prager. Garrison’s cartoons have been used by white nationalists and far-right figures. A 2017 ThinkProgress profile reported that Garrison’s cartoons -- which regularly laud Trump and target his perceived enemies -- “have helped white nationalists spread their message online by coating the themes of racism, anti-Semitism and misogyny in layers of humor and irony.”

Akbar pushed a racist smear that Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was not Black. In June, Akbar, a Republican political operative who co-launched the site Culttture with other far-right figures, tweeted a racist smear that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is “*not* an American Black” and “is half Indian and half Jamaican.” The same language was later tweeted by a network of bot accounts and Donald Trump Jr. pushed the tweet. Smears questioning Harris’ background had been circulating online for months and were popularized by an Obama birther and neo-Nazis.

James O’Keefe
O’Keefe has repeatedly pushed doctored and misleading “undercover” videos. O’Keefe has repeatedly made “undercover sting” videos that are false and misleading. He has hired a woman to pretend to be an accuser of then-Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, made deceptive videos targeting the community organizing group ACORN (for which he was forced to pay $100,000 and publicly apologize as part of a court settlement), put out a video claiming that a voter was dead (he was later found to be very much alive) and that non-citizens were voting (they were actually citizens), and selectively edited a video of census workers to falsely suggest supervisors were encouraging employees to falsify information on their time sheets. Multiple purported exposes done by O'Keefe of targets like CNN and the Russia narrative were complete duds.

Gaetz falsely suggested Soros was funding a migrant caravan. Last October, Gaetz tweeted a video and wrote, “Footage in Honduras giving cash 2 women & children 2 join the caravan & storm the US border @ election time. Soros? US-backed NGOs? Time to investigate the source!” The video was actually was from Guatemala, and there is no evidence that Soros was involved.

De regering onder Trump verdient geen hoofdprijs als je de service in opvangkampen voor illegalen bekijkt. Hoor verhalen over slapen zonder een comfortabel matras, geen schone kleren en niet mogen/kunnen douchen.
Zouden die yanks beter eens bij de duitsers te rade kunnen gaan, daar mochten de kampbewoners in ieder geval EEN keer de "doucheruimtes" bezoeken :-(
Of bij ons in Nederland, na enige strubbelingen, hebben de "vluchtelingen" nu een graties shuttlebus naar voldoende geoutilleerde shopping-malls.
