Juist omdat media zijn geblaat oppakt heeft het zoveel aandacht.

Het kleine beetje aandacht dat AND via FB en Twitter trekt brengt de koers al in beweging.
Een PB zou heel wat meer impakt hebben gehad.
Of dat gezien de inhoud van het bericht al dan niet terecht zou zijn doet er niet toe. Jezelf laten zien/horen, dat is waar het om gaat.

Als er geen officieel persbericht wordt uitgegeven is het nieuws niet van belang.

Capelle aan den IJssel, 16 May 2019 – AND International Publishers NV is pleased to present an update on a number of important developments.

General

The appointment of Mr. Thierry Jaccoud as the new CEO was formalized on February 1st. Since then and in close conjunction with the AND team, Mr. Jaccoud has performed a thorough analysis of the company’s commercial propositions, market positions and operations. This has led to a newly defined strategy which will be presented during today’s General Meeting. Please note that the presentation to be delivered by Mr. Jaccoud will be published on the Company’s web page simultaneously with the start of the AGM meeting.

Commercial

The first quarter of 2019 has shown a strong increase in revenues compared to the same period last year. At the same time operating expenses were down significantly.

For the full year 2019, the company aims to maintain the positive momentum seen in the first quarter and grow revenues compared to full-year 2018, whilst stringent cost discipline remains a first priority.

CEO Mr. Thierry Jaccoud comments: “This early commercial success is particularly encouraging because it is nicely spread over multiple contracts with new and existing customers which will help to provide the company with the recurring revenue streams we need to further grow and develop the company.”

Another notable milestone was the recent delivery of a full HD map to a subsidiary of a large European automotive OEM, marking the first commercial delivery in the Company’s history.

Team

AND is pleased to announce that Mr. Marco Kok has been appointed (non-statutory) Chief Financial Officer of the company as per May 1st 2019. Mr. Kok is a senior CFO who has previously held end-responsible financial positions in both listed (Holland Colours NV) and non-listed (RH Marine, Alewijnse Holding) firms.

mwha, lijkt false move in een pokerspel. Niettemin is de tendens opwaarts, maar volumes nog niet hoog genoeg om daaruit echt iets af te kunnen leiden.

Volume vandaag (tot nu toe) liefst 13 keer de gemiddelde dagomzet. Dus hoezo volume niet hoog genoeg. Naast de nieuwe omvangrijke updates wordt het tijd dat de goede resultaten en verwachtingen eens worden teruggezien in een koers die daarbij past. Eerste weerstand ligt op € 2,92. De intrinsieke waarde van het aandeel schurkt nog steeds tegen € 4,00 p/aandeel aan. Je kan dus ook stellen dat de inhaalslag erg laat, maar terecht in gang is gezet.

Bij lek of geruchten van positief nieuws zou almaar stijgend volume hebben gepast. Dat hebben we niet gezien. Wel een duidelijk hoger dagvolume dan normaal inderdaad.

Het lijkt imo meer op 1 forse koper (en bijkomende: van handel komt handel) die positie inneemt in aanloop naar cijfers.
Als het die ene koper is, dan verwacht ik dat in de loop vd maand de koers weer inzakt.

Karlsruhe, 9. Mai 2019:

Die Karlsruher DDS Digital Data Services GmbH hat Ende März 2019 einen Kooperationsvertrag mit dem niederländischen Unternehmen AND geschlossen und bietet nun die "Digitale Geographie AND" für alle Länder der Welt zu günstigen und individuell zugeschnittenen Konditionen an. Dabei werden auch Länder wie China abgedeckt.

China als bevölkerungsreichstes Land der Welt hat eine dynamische Wirtschaftsentwicklung hinter sich, die zu wachsenden Ex- und Importen geführt hat. Deutschland ist dabei bis heute führender europäischer Handelspartner der Volksrepublik: Knapp ein Drittel des gesamten Handelsvolumens der EU mit China (rund 514 Milliarden Euro) entfällt auf Deutschland (Quelle:https://www.bmwi.de/Redaktion/DE/Artikel/Aussenwirtschaft/laendervermerk-china.html). Dabei unterliegen deutsche Unternehmen in China nach wie vor zahlreichen Einschränkungen und Schwierigkeiten. "Zu Letzteren zählt auch, dass die Verfügbarkeit digitaler Informationen, die für ein erfolgreiches Business unerlässlich sind, teilweise ungenügend ist", weiß Andreas Lehr, Mitarbeiter der DDS Digital Data Services GmbH. "Wer in China aktiv sein möchte, braucht Geodaten, und wir freuen uns, dass wir diese unseren Kunden ab sofort anbieten können."

Denn der Karlsruher Datendienstleister DDS hat am 27. März 2019 einen Kooperationsvertrag mit dem niederländischen Unternehmen AND abgeschlossen und hat dessen Produkte nun zu besten Konditionen im Angebot. Dazu gehört vor allem die "Digitale Geographie AND", eine digitale Weltkarte, die in verschiedenen Maßstäben alle Gebiete der Welt abdeckt. "Das gilt nicht nur für China, sondern auch für zahlreiche andere Schwellen- und Entwicklungsländer, in denen eine Beschaffung von homogenen und lizenzrechtlich bedenkenlos verwendbaren digitalen Straßennetzen oft schwierig ist", erklärt Andreas Lehr.

Die Daten eignen sich vor allem für strategische Routinganwendungen und Kartendarstellungen. Für die wichtigsten internationalen Märkte sind sie im Maßstab 1:250.000 lieferbar, für viele andere Länder der Welt mindestens im Maßstab 1:2.000.000. Enthalten sind unter anderem Ländergrenzen, Ortspunkte, Eisenbahnlinien, Points of Interest (POIs) und Bebauungsflächen. Die Angaben zum Straßennetz umfassen außerdem die Straßennamen mit zusätzlichen Attributen wie Straßenkategorie, Richtung und Einbahnstraßen.

DDS berät beim Einsatz der AND-Daten und kann dank des Kooperationsvertrags mit AND ihren Kunden wunschgemäße Datenpakete schnüren und individuelle Lizenzvereinbarungen anbieten.

Zoals Opus al opmerkte was er geen reden tot stijging gelet op het ontbreken van positief nieuws rond AND. Ik denk dan ook dat je gelijk hebt dat een forse koper de koers heeft opgekrikt, gelet op de omzet en koers tot nu toe vandaag. Ik blijf wel van mening dat de samenwerking met DSS en de goede ontwikkelingen zijn vruchten af (gaan) werpen en dat de koers daarbij is achtergebleven.

Autonomous vehicles and public transport – a new multipurpose solution for the future?
More and more autonomous vehicles, flexible mobility services, lower costs – public transport and autonomous driving could become a model example of perfect integration. Today, we talked with Dr.-Ing. Jochen Lohmiller, Manager Microscopic Simulation at PTV, about the necessary steps.
Compass: What role does autonomous driving play in the field of public transport?
Jochen Lohmiller: Public transport is an important and indispensable component of any modern mobility concept. All our simulations show that our cities would not function in the future without mass transportation. Therefore, every facet of autonomous driving is of interest to public transport operators. Be it for the development of future-proof mobility concepts or through new vehicle scheduling options for depot management or daily operations.
Compass: What could public transport combined with autonomous transport look like in the near and distant future?

Jochen Lohmiller: More and more autonomous vehicles will be used in urban areas. In addition, we expect parts of the nationwide public transport system (operating according to a timetable) to be replaced by on-demand ride-sharing services, especially in rural areas. The increasing number of autonomous vehicles will lead to enhanced intelligent control of traffic through operations control systems. If mobility is to succeed in the future, public transport operators will have to work closely with mobility service providers. And it is important to find out to what extent cities or operators can offer mobility services or how many mobility service providers a city can tolerate.
Compass: What are the long-term goals?
Jochen Lohmiller: We want to be able to consider autonomous driving in all relevant transport modes. Be it future planning of autonomous vehicle fleets, the evaluation of the consequences when autonomous vehicles are combined with conventional vehicles or the development of integrated and sustainable mobility concepts – our aim is to support today’s cities with our simulation tools, making them ready for the future and helping them take the right actions.
