Hoe weet een of andere twitteraar nou dat er momenteel miljoenen in het land aan het protesteren zijn?

Meerdere Iraanse kranten hebben vandaag trouwens negatieve berichten gepubliceerd over de Iraanse overheid. Nog meer bewijs dat je in Iran meer kritiek kunt hebben op de overheid dan door sommigen wordt beweerd.

Niet zo maar een twitteraar dus
Beelden van mensenmassa's vergelijkbaar met de mensenmassa's die na de dood van Soleimani op de been waren heb ik niet gezien.

Zoals een ander forumlid al opmerkte:

'(...) De recente demonstraties n.a.v. het vliegtuigongeluk staan in geen verhouding, qua deelname.'

Dat het maar om 'een paar' mensen gaat heb ik niet beweerd. Ik las ergens, ik dacht NOS, tienduizenden.

Welke opdrachten Khamenei heeft gegeven weet ik verder niet, maar het kan niet kloppen dat de opdracht is gegeven om op demonstranten te schieten. For one: Dan zouden er in een mum van tijd honderden, zo niet duizenden slachtoffers zijn gevallen.

Contributies op Twitter van een persoon zijn niet hetzelfde als contributies aan de BBC van een persoon. Wat de aard en inhoud is van de contributies van deze persoon aan de BBC weet ik verder niet. De BBC heeft in ieder geval niet bericht over miljoenen mensen die momenteel zouden demonstreren in Iran.

En ook niets over miljoenen die vanavond aan het demonstreren waren. Als er reden was om te denken dat het ook maar in de buurt was zou het wereldnieuws zijn.
