De meeste Westerse media zien liever een ’regime change’ in Amerika dan een ’regime change’ in Iran – zo diep zijn de media inmiddels gezonken.

De afgelopen drie jaar is er intensief onderzoek gedaan naar het Steele Dossier, dat schokkende onthullingen deed over het gedrag van Donald Trump. Maar niets daarvan kon worden bewezen, ook niet door een van de meest prominente leden van het anti-Trump-establishment van Washington DC, Robert Mueller.

De onthullingen konden niet worden bewezen omdat ze verzonnen waren. De media zwijgen hierover; ze willen niet dat u weet dat ze verzonnen zijn.

Wie die fake-verhalen heeft bedacht, wie daartoe opdracht heeft gegeven, wie het spel heeft gespeeld om de presidentskandidaat en daarna gekozen president Trump in een nepschandaal te betrekken, wordt steeds duidelijker. Maar de media besteden er niet of nauwelijks aandacht aan omdat ze radicaal voor één partij in het Amerikaanse politieke krachtenveld hebben gekozen.

Het is inmiddels duidelijk dat de verkiezingscampagne van Trump op illegale gronden werd bespioneerd. Zelfs internationale informanten van de CIA en de FBI droegen bij aan totaal onzinnige verdachtmakingen van mensen die bij de Trumpcampagne betrokken waren. Generaal Flynn, een gedecoreerde militair die Trump adviseerde (eerder was hij korte tijd adviseur van Obama, tot Flynn zich tegen de Amerikaanse inlichtingenelites keerde), werd geslachtofferd en continu dreunde door de media de boodschap dat Trump met de Russen had samengespannen en dat dus de verkiezingen ongeldig waren.

Ordinaire straatvechter Trump

Het doel van dit alles was: de verkiezingen voor Hillary Clinton veiligstellen. Toen dat mislukte en tot ieders verbijstering Trump president werd, werd het doel het voorkomen van een tweede termijn van de ordinaire straatvechter Trump.

Onderbelicht tot nu toe is de rol van Bill Clinton geweest. Met hem had Loretta Lynch, minister van Justitie onder Obama, in de zomer van 2016 een curieuze ontmoeting op het vliegveld van Phoenix, Arizona. Hun zakenjets stonden ’toevallig’ bij elkaar, en Bill bracht ’spontaan’ een bezoekje aan het vliegtuig van Lynch. Er werd op dat moment door de FBI onderzoek gedaan naar de verdwenen e-mails op de gehackte internetserver die de Clintons thuis gebruikten.

Dat ’toevallige’ gesprek tussen Bill en minister Lynch riep vragen op over de onafhankelijkheid van het onderzoek – Hillary was minister van Buitenlandse Zaken geweest en de vraag was wie de huisserver van de Clintons had gehackt en of er staatsgeheimen waren gestolen. Het was een serieuze vlek op de campagne van Hillary, waaraan de media toen aandacht gaven zonder angst dat haar campagne werd ondergraven, Trump zou immers toch verliezen.

Lynch en Bill verklaarden later, toen het bericht van hun ontmoeting lekte, dat ze over kinderen en kleinkinderen hadden gebabbeld. Dat kan, maar is onwaarschijnlijk. Bill heeft vermoedelijk aangedrongen op een doofpot en Lynch heeft vermoedelijk toegezegd dat ze daar niet tegen was. Hillary werd inderdaad niet vervolgd.

Vanaf het vroege voorjaar van 2016 hebben allerlei krachten in het Amerikaanse politiek-mediale complex alle middelen ingezet Hillary te beschermen. Dat mislukte. Maar de verdachtmakingen werden in leven gehouden door de inzet van speciale onderzoekers, het verspreiden van fake-berichten en continue ridiculisering, door rituele afzettingsprocedures door de Democraten in het Huis van Afgevaardigden. Trump verdedigde zich met wilde tweets.

Tot bloei komen van Amerikaanse economie

Ondertussen kwam de Amerikaanse economie tot bloei, stegen de beurzen naar ongekende hoogten, daalde het werkloosheidscijfer naar een historisch dieptepunt en kon Trump zelfs met China tot een redelijk handelsakkoord komen.

Ook nu wordt Trump geconfronteerd met onterechte beschuldigingen. Hij lokte bijna een wereldoorlog uit met de uitschakeling van Qassem Soleimani, zo waarschuwden de media. De dood van Soleimani zou het Iraanse volk tegen Amerika keren. Soleimani zou door zo ongeveer iedereen in Iran vereerd worden en Iran zou verwoestend wraak nemen, daarbij gesteund door het hele Iraanse volk.

De deskundologen zaten er naast, zoals bijna altijd bij Trumps besluiten. Paul Krugman, Nobelprijswinnaar en Times-columnist, voorspelde een ongekend diepe globale economische recessie als Trump president zou worden. De afkeer bij de elites van Trump is sterker dan hun professionele nuchterheid – als Trump over water zou lopen, zouden de deskundologen roepen dat hij niet kan zwemmen.

Een groot deel van het Iraanse volk haat de religieuze tirannie die zoveel onderdrukking, vernedering en corruptie heeft doen ontstaan. Zij protesteren niet alleen tegen de verhoging van de benzineprijzen en het neerschieten van het Oekraïense vliegtuig, maar vooral tegen de geweldsverheerlijkende nachtmerrie waarin hun schitterende land is beland.

Trump heeft dat perfect aangevoeld en steunt die mensen – op De Telegraaf na houden onze media zijn ruwe, botte, maar vaak opmerkelijk effectieve talent zoveel mogelijk voor u verborgen.

“The alarming reports that the Russian Government is continuing to interfere in our elections to benefit the President and to undermine our democracy highlight the urgent need for action. But Leader McConnell has condemned our bills to his legislative graveyard, giving hostile foreign powers the green light to attack our country.

We only learned of this hacking through the press. Congress must be briefed on what the Administration knows about this attack and why the President doesn’t have a plan to protect our elections.”

During an interview on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show Friday night, President Donald Trump made a stunning announcement: Saudi Arabia was paying the US $1 billion to send US troops to defend it from Iran.

“We’re sending more [troops] to Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Arabia is paying us for it,” Trump said. “I said, ‘Listen, you’re a very rich country. You want more troops? I’m going to send them to you, but you have to pay us.’ They’re paying us. They’ve already deposited $1 billion in the bank.”

In a statement to Vox, Pentagon spokesperson Cmdr. Rebecca Rebarich said, “The Department of Defense has engaged Saudi Arabia on contributing to US activities that support regional security and dissuade hostility and aggression.”

But the statement did not specify whether any sort of financial transaction took place — on the contrary, it said that “discussions are ongoing to formalize these contributions.”

Here’s Rebarich’s statement in full:

Consistent with the president’s guidance to increase partner burden-sharing, the Department of Defense has engaged Saudi Arabia on contributing to US activities that support regional security and dissuade hostility and aggression. The Saudi government has agreed to contribute to the costs of these activities, and discussions are ongoing to formalize these contributions. Contributions of this nature do not lead to the deployment of additional US forces, and they do not drive DoD to take on new missions or responsibilities.
“Discussions are ongoing” is quite different than Trump’s unequivocal claim that Saudi Arabia had “already deposited $1 billion in the bank.”

Trump’s comments came during an interview in which he bragged about war crimes, told blatant lies about the FBI, and said he feels no obligation to publicly detail the intelligence underpinning his decision to approve a military strike against an Iranian official that brought the country to the brink of war.

In dit artikel van ZeroHedge wordt het artikel van Vanity Fair door de The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) afgewezen als zijnde " a fantastical story".
"CME Group regularly monitors its markets for suspicious activity.

As it relates to the Vanity Fair article published on October 17, 2019, regarding activities in the E-mini S&P 500 futures contract, the allegations about the trading activity are patently false.

These transactions were entered into by a significant number of diverse market participants."

And at the time the Vanity Fair piece was released, we did not run a comment on the article because of our initial skepticism of the reporting, and as Bloomberg reported, experts who examined the story said any implication that people traded on inside information fell short of being proven.

Some thoughts on Chief Justice Roberts presiding over the Senate impeachment trial.
I hear many people casually say that 51 senators can simply vote to overrule any decision of CJ Roberts.
If 51 senators reverse a ruling of CJ Roberts that could have the look and feel of obstructing justice by assisting the administration in covering up Trump’s crimes.

Here’s why:

First, under the current Senate rules, Roberts will be in a position to rule on issues of “relevancy and materiality” of witnesses and evidence.

I spent 30 years in courtrooms litigating issues of relevancy and materiality. Any experienced attorney/litigator can tell you that Bolton’s testimony is extremely relevant and material, whereas testimony from the Bidens is neither relevant nor material to a resolution of the two articles of impeachment passed by the House.

Second, Roberts mere presence will give the trial an air of legitimacy. If he presides over a sham trial he will be doing the nefarious bidding of Trump and McConnell. That could very well tarnish Roberts himself and, by extension, the credibility, reputation and legitimacy of the Supreme Court as a whole.

Third, IMO, McConnell’s recent statement to @PeteWilliamsNBC that, “I would anticipate the chief justice would not actually make any ruling” shows a staggering amount of aspirational arrogance, signaling that McConnell believes he can ride roughshod over the Chief Justice.

McConnell may have a bunch of weak, unpatriotic Senate Republicans ready to fall in line with his rigged trial, he may even have several weak, complicit Republicans in the Trump administration ready to fall in line with his rigged trial, but if McConnell thinks he’s gonna drag down w/him the reputation of Chief Justice Roberts &, by extension, the legitimacy of the entire US Supreme Court, McConnell may have another thing coming.
