Ze mogen nog een paar keer dit percentage stijgen vooraleer ik echt blij zal zijn maar het is in ieder geval aangenamer om een double digit stijging te zien. Maar als we eerst op een maand 25% zakken moeten we niet overdreven euforisch gaan doen hé.

Ach eindelijk eens een keertje een echte stap in de goede richting kan wel wat blijdschap gebruiken...:).
Sta nog steeds op verlies maar er in ieder geval iets tastbaars waar een succes kan uit voortvloeien. Nu geduld hebben.

MONT-SAINT-GUIBERT, Belgium, July 14, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Celyad Oncology SA (Euronext & Nasdaq: CYAD), a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR T) therapies for cancer, today announced that the company’s Investigational New Drug (IND) application for CYAD-211, the company’s first-in-class short hairpin RNA (shRNA)-based allogeneic CAR T candidate and second non-gene edited off-the-shelf program, is in effect with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company’s lead allogeneic candidate from its next-generation CYAD-200 series, CYAD-211 targets B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) for the treatment of relapsed / refractory multiple myeloma (r/r MM). CYAD-211 is engineered to co-express a BCMA-targeting chimeric antigen receptor and a single shRNA, which interferes with the expression of the CD3? component of the T-cell receptor (TCR) complex.

Voorlopig groene futures, ik ben benieuwd. Het zou leuk zijn om dergelijke stijging eens vast te houden tot het einde van de dag. En dan afwachten wat er de volgende dagen op ons afkomt. Al regelmatig gezien dat we de dag erna met een gelijk of hoger percentage naar beneden gaan. Ik denk dat een goede partner vinden inderdaad de koers (en bedrijf) zou kunnen ondersteunen maar ik denk dat het daarvoor misschien nog wat te vroeg is.

Celyad vlamt na pril groen licht uit Washington
De grootste stijger in Brussel is Celyad Oncology , de Waalse kankerspecialist die vroeger gewoon als Celyad door het leven ging. Het aandeel ging kort na opening tot 7 procent hoger, maar valt nu - zoals wel vaker bij initieel enthousiaste reacties bij biotech op elk beetje nieuwsflow - wat terug.

Celyad kondigde voorbeurs aan de goedkeuring op zak te hebben van de Amerikaanse geneesmiddelenwaakhond FDA voor tests op een tweede toepassing van zijn CAR-T stamceltherapie: het gaat om CYAD-211 voor de potentiële behandeling van een soort bloedkanker (r/rMM). Het is de bedoeling dat de eerste, kleine klinische tests eind dit jaar van start gaan.

Voor het andere CAR-T onderzoek, met het experimentele darmkankermiddel CYAD-101, kondigde Celyad begin juni 'bemoedigende' prille onderzoeksresultaten aan. KBC Securities-analiste Sandra Cauwenberghs handhaaft haar bijkopenadvies. Ze merkt op dat Celyad eind maart over 33 miljoen cash beschikte, met een cash burn van 5,5 miljoen euro. 'Het bedrijf zegt nog tot de eerste helft van 2021 voort te kunnen. Bijgevolg zal in de loop van 2020 een geldinjectie nodig zijn om de activiteiten ook na midden 2021 te vrijwaren.'

Ja maar het wel een advies van de boevenbende kbc, aan de adviezen van criminele organisatie zou ik maar niet te veel waarde hechten.
een jaar geleden gaven ze een advies voor kiadis boven 20 euro, staat nu onder de 2

Nee Twin, Celyad heeft genoeg geld tot en met 1e jaarhelft 2021... maar voor nadien (vooral met nieuwe fase 1 van CYAD-211) moet nu reeds bijkomende financieringsemissie voorzien worden... normaal dit jaar nog...

Was te verwachten dat we zouden zakken, het blijft immers Celyad. Hopelijk kunnen we deze keer wel een deel van de stijging van gisteren behouden. Ik ben vooral benieuwd wat de volgende dagen gaan doen want meestal zakken we verschillende dagen na elkaar verschillende procenten. Ik hoop dat het bedrijf met nog wat positief nieuws komt om de belangstelling wat gaande te houden deze keer.

Bij het eerstvolgende goed nieuws bericht een boest op de koers gevolgd door een emissie kort erna. Dat is wat ik denk.
