Hoop niet dat men teleurgesteld wordt maar als het niet minimaal stabiliseert vandaag, beschouw ik gisteren weer als een one off.

Last June, with the pandemic raging and demand for food-delivery services surging, Grubhub put itself up for sale. At the time, there was widespread speculation that Uber Technologies might buy Grubhub and combine it with Uber Eats, creating a beefier competitor to market leader DoorDash. But the very notion of an Uber/Grubhub combination attracted some unwanted attention from members of Congress, who raised antitrust concerns.
In a move that surprised investors—and irritated analysts who had hoped to see consolidation in the fiercely competitive U.S. delivery market—Grubhub instead accepted a $7.3 billion all-stock bid from Amsterdam-based Just Eat Takeaway.com (ticker: GRUB), a food-delivery company that itself had just been created by the 2020 merger of Takeaway and London-based Just Eat.
The Grubhub acquisition took a full year to complete, finally closing this month. American investors are still figuring out the new business, and that could create an opportunity for the stock. As CEO Jitse Groen told me, Just Eat Takeaway’s business is different from DoorDash (DASH) and Uber Eats in important ways. For one thing, the company started as a marketplace, forwarding orders to restaurants, which handle delivery on their own—that’s still 70% of the business. Grubhub’s own Seamless unit does the same thing in New York City. The marketplace business is far more profitable than having to provide delivery along with orders.
Sometimes, restaurants still need delivery, though, and Just Eat Takeaway and Grubhub offer that option. Another difference: In most European markets, the delivery staff is made up of full-time employees. Groen says that regulations in much of Europe prevent Just Eat Takeaway from using the contractor-driven model that dominates the U.S. gig economy. He adds that a combination of smaller average order sizes and a culture of small (to nonexistent) tipping for drivers makes the U.S. approach a tough sell in Europe.
Ultimately, Just Eat Takeway’s model may be better for business. On a pro forma basis, Just Eat in 2020 generated $4.6 billion in revenue and $401 million in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, or Ebitda. By contrast, DoorDash had $2.9 billion in 2020 revenue and adjusted Ebitda of $189 million. Uber (UBER) is still losing gobs of money on delivery. DoorDash sees 2021 adjusted Ebitda ranging from zero to $200 million; Just Eat has not provided 2021 guidance so far, but an analyst meeting is scheduled for the fall. While DoorDash is probably growing faster, Just Eat is more profitable. And here’s the thing: DoorDash trades at about 20 times last year’s revenues, while Just Eat trades for only four times trailing revenues. Hungry for a speculative bargain? Just Eat might be the meal you’re seeking

De spijkerharde shortposities nemen af, dat lijkt me positief. Maar zolang er een partij is ( of partijen ) die met een dump van zeg 9k stukkies, een winst van 1% volledig kan laten verdampen, blijft het moeizaam.

Je hebt een paar dagen nodig zoals gisteren waarbij de koers stevig oploopt onder een dubbele omzet.

Dan wordt die verkoper weggeblazen.

Gaat het vandaag alweer terug naar die ienie mienie omzetjes dan kun je EOD ook weer aardig rood staan.
Kom nl vrijwel nooit tegen dat het onder ienie mienie omzetjes lekker doorstijgt.

Vreemd genoeg zakt het dan altijd in.

Mss hebben de Yanks na 15.30 weer kooplust .

Maar nu hebben ze de koers weer aardig onder controle

wederom zelfde patroon als de afgelopen week. Kleine stijgingen bij hele grote aankooporders, bijvoorbeeld om 11.13 uur.
Dergelijke patronen geven mij vertrouwen in richting van de koersen die ik verwacht. Heeft me veel rendement opgeleverd de afgelopen maanden.

Wat een forumvervuiling hier, zijn er geen moderators? 1 iemand zegt dat de koers omlaag gaat in 3!? Berichten, 4k verkocht 1 euro omlaag, als dit nog een keer gebeurt weer een euro, JA GOH! En dan nog in een derde bericht aangeven dat hij twijfelt. Wat een onzin om daar 3 berichten over te schrijven. Ik kijk op dit forum voor nieuws en eventuele cijfers, uw GAK boeit niemand! En het boeit ook niemand dat er 1k stuks zijn verkocht en dat de koers een euro omlaag gaat, dit kan IEDEREEN zelf zien.
