de koersontwikkeling valt me zwaar tegen...met verbeterde data, geen hogere bodem gevonden... geduld maar weer....

wel een melding op twitter, maar meer van hetzelfde zeg maar...

Beurssentiment is op dit moment ook niet hoopgevend. Hopen doe ik wel wat dit bedrijf betreft en denk ook wel dat dit een pareltje in wording is. Aandelen liggen dus dan ook hoog op de plank van hoop!

for cancer and autoimmune disease, announces the first five patients have been treated in the INSIGHT003 study.
No additional safety signals have been observed in the study which is the first time a triple combination
therapy consisting of eftilagimod alpha (“efti”) and an existing approved standard of care combination of
chemotherapy (carboplatin) and an anti-PD-1 therapy has been administered.

Dat zou de eerste US analist zijn. Kan verschil maken.
Ik ben benieuwd of een US-rating een andere waarde heeft voor beleggers dan een AUS-rating.

Lijkt mij ook, werd tijd ook dat er een rating vanuit de US kwam.. ook op de fora daar zit praktisch niemand, onbekend nog daar dus.

Heb ze nu op 3,13 usd zojuist weer teruggekocht. Veel vroeger dan ik zelf in gedachten had, had zo'n snelle en langdurige daling ook niet verwacht..
Aan de andere kant kan het nog een stuk lager als de biotech markt zo slecht blijft liggen als nu.
Ik koop bij mochten we nog rond de 2,45usd komen.
Hoop uiteraard dat dit niet nodig is ;-)

Immutep's eftilagimod alpha is a prospective cancer drug that continues to progress through Phase 2B clinical trials and if positive trial results continue, efti could potentially be used in combination with checkpoint inhibitors or chemotherapy to be destroyed by the immune system, Stanton tells investors. Immutep is in clinical trials for efti in combination with Keytruda from Merck (MRK), and he only values efti currently, but Stanton notes that Immutep has "an impressive number of other collaborations" with other drugmakers.

Dit volgende geeft overduidelijk weer hoe belangrijk/groot LAG-3 is...We hebben na de huidige standaard/ grootste blockbuster drugs zo'n 7 jaar geen significante verbetering gezien, en dat zien we nu met LAG-3 dus wel.

LAG-3 validated as the third important Immuno-oncology target. Immuno-oncology has dramatically changed how we treat cancer and the survival outlook for patients with late stage and metastatic disease. Since the first approval of an immune checkpoint inhibitor (Bristol Myers Squibb’s ipilimumab) in 2011 we have seen only two target pathways arise in this field; CTLA-4 (ipilimumab’s target) and PD-1/PD-L1 (the target/s of six approved checkpoint inhibitors). To date, this class of drugs (immune checkpoint inhibitors), annualises >US$30B in sales from seven approved assets. Merck’s pembrolizumab (anti-PD1) first approved in 2015 is a blockbuster that is now used in >13 cancer indications, annualising US$16B in sales.
LAG-3 is the most advanced novel immune checkpoint target, which could see it’s first targeted drug approval in 1Q’22 via BMS’ relatlimab (anti-LAG-3 drug), adding LAG-3 to CTLA-4 and PD-1/PD-L1 as the third important immune checkpoint
target pathway in oncology.

2x meldt ie dat de koers te laag is... algemene tendens in de sector...

Ondanks covid gaat recruiten van patienten sneller dan verwacht,
Als LAG3 commercieel zal gaan volgend jaar(Bristol Myers in maart), dan zal dat ook helpen.
Genoeg pluspunten voor 2022 waar de koers moet herstellen dus.

Interviewer vraagt zich of of Immutep ook last gaat hebben van de tendens dat er druk op de prijzen komt. Marc vertelt dat Efti juist in kleine hoeveelheden toegediend wordt, en snel toe te dienen is(5 minuten) door een zuster.
(Efti ca. 30 mg subcutaan/onderhuids, vergeleken met Keytruda bijvoorbeeld 200 of 300 mg intraveneus a een uur of anderhalf)

Commercialisatie van Efti is niet heel ver weg.
