To strengthen our Finance team, we are currently searching for:

Finance Director a.i.

Based in: Leiden, the Netherlands
Hours: 16-24
Assignment: 6-12 months

Department:
The Finance Director a.i. works in close relation to the current Finance Manager and the Finance Officer. The purpose of this assignment is to develop and support the current Finance Manager into his new role as the future Finance Director. Together with the Finance Manager, you are responsible for the organization and processes within the finance department. During the assignment you will report to the CFO/CEO.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Reporting

Review interim financial statements and reporting.

Active involvement in the Monthly Closing Process to ensure appropriate and accurate financial accounting and reporting.

Work with the Finance Manager to set financial policies, direct EMEA’s monthly financial close operations and drive completion of statutory audits.

Assist in cash conversion cycle, strategy, creating a vision and implement policies, systems, and processes, and manage cash flow reporting.

Assist with budgeting, planning, and forecasting with the purpose to create a Planning & Control cycle.

Risk management & Internal Controls:

Promote Risk Management across the business through improved controls, processes, and procedures.

Maintenance on internal controls including annual assessments and revising policy/procedures as well as being a strong steward of company internal control in general.

Assist in the correct handling of equity (shares, options, warrants).

Assist the Compliance officer.

Administration & Systems:

Being a key guiding force to the administration department incorporating best practices and optimizing accounting and transactional performance based on the company’s vision.

Consult in the selection of an ERP system and other potential tools for improving reporting and processes.

Minimum qualifications:

Education:

MSc degree in finance or accounting

Experience:

At least 10 years relevant experience in a listed company.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and techniques as well as generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS).

At least 10 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience in an international environment.

Proven track record in developing and coaching professionals.

Strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Experience of global supply chain and inventory planning.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Experience in a small company is preferred.

Experience in food, pharmaceuticals or biotechnology is required.

Met de mega omzetten van Ruconest zijn ze natuurlijk al vast bezig met het opbouwen van de stellingen ;)

Triple heeft het begrepen! De techniek der schijnbewegingen is eeuwenoud en heeft al vaker tot mooie successen geleid. Ik denk ook dat we maandag DOWN gaan, ben er eigenlijk zeker van!

Maandag up or down...

Uitslag FDA komt eraan en er zullen nog flinke schommelingen zijn komende week, daarom vermoed ik dat het aandeel maandag wel eens een flinke spijk omhoog zal laten zien!

Wie wil er nu niet op de blaren zitten!
