Challenge
Digium is rapidly expanding its channel program and needed to, and is continually looking for, programs that add the most value to its partners. The company required a system that enabled partners to easily update their websites, without having to download materials from a partner portal. With partners who are in regions all around the world, Digium wanted an automated system that would easily scale to provide product content to partners, without requiring staff involvement for each site. Also, the need to accommodate future localized content and product information also was important as the company continues to grow.
After evaluating content syndication programs, Digium found it had existing partners who were already receiving syndicated content from other companies. With their deep investment in the channel Digium knew that content syndication was an advanced way to easily disperse content to their partner network and to end users. To be able to develop and distribute the right content fitting the needs of the end users, Digium needed visibility into how that content was being consumed online, such as a detailed reporting via an advanced analytics package.
“We started working with TIE Kinetix because we had a large amount of content that we needed to syndicate to our partners worldwide. One of the requirements of our program is that partners have updated Digium content on their websites. We knew that we needed to make it easier for our growing partner base to publish up-to-date content on their website - and it needed to be easier for us to publish as well!” said Shannon Clemons, Director of Marketing at Digium.
Solution
After evaluating a number of syndication providers, Digium chose the TIE Kinetix Content Syndication Pilot Program.
