Wat denkt men hiervan?
Gaan we weer.

Eye on Lithium: The West could end EV battery ties with China by 2030 and Sayona could benefit

All your lithium news, Thursday November 24.

stockhead.com.au/resources/eye-on-lit...

Goldman Sachs believes the United States and Europe could both end reliance on Chinese EV batteries by 2030 putting Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA) in a prime position as it closes in on a restart of its North American Lithium (NAL) operation Québec, Canada.

The operation is on track to recommence production in Q1 2023 with both procurement and permitting activities nearing the finish line and construction activities ramping up.

Mining contractors L.Fournier & Fils started operations in October with work underway and necessary equipment and personnel mobilised on site.

Sayona is also targeting an expansion of NAL’s future mine production capacity following the recent acquisition of 48 new claims spanning nearly 2,000ha adjacent to NAL.

“With lithium demand continuing to increase and supply remaining constrained, we are focused on achieving our targets as we build the largest lithium resource base in North America,” SYA managing director Brett Lynch says.

www.finance.yahoo.com/news/australian...

European Lithium is focused on the development of its wholly owned Wolfsberg Lithium Project which is located in Carinthia, 270km south of Vienna, Austria. The Project is located 20 km east of Wolfsberg, an industrial town, with established infrastructure, including access to the European motorway and railway network.

The project comprises 22 original and 32 overlapping exploration licences and a mining licence over 11 mining areas issued by the Austrian mining authority. All exploration licences are extended by the mining authority until 31 December 2024. The mining licence can be held in perpetuity provided its conditions are maintained.

The Wolfsberg project benefits from significant exploration, extensive metallurgical testing, mining and pre-feasibility studies conducted by its past owners.

The Company successfully completed a positive pre-feasibility study (PFS) in Q2 2018. The PFS was based only on measured and indicated resources of 6.3Mt at 1.17% Li2O.

St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp.: EVSX Secures Ontario Location for Battery Recycling
Mon, December 5, 2022 at 2:15 PM
MONTRÉAL, QC / ACCESSWIRE / December 5, 2022 / St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. (CSE:SX)(OTCQB:SXOOF)(FSE:85G1) is pleased to announce that EVSX has secured the location for its Ontario battery recycling and battery mineral processing operations within the Bioveld Complex under the umbrella of the Thorold Multimodal Hub and the Hopa Port Authority in Niagara, Ontario. This location ties into the Company's strategy to reduce transportation time and costs while expanding potential local synergies. EVSX has also completed the Canadian Standard Association standard independent review for its battery recycling modular industrial plants, allowing operations in Canada.

EVSX Ontario Plant

Located within the Thorold Multimodal Hub, in the heart of Niagara, Canada, the facility will host the Company's battery sorting and blackmass processing operation with a full modular plant by the end of Q2 2023. A second modular circuit is expected to be added later in 2023. Management is reviewing the potential to use available space to host its lithium Center of Excellence to process blackmass from batteries and produce lithium hydroxide from hard rock concentrates. The complex will allow the Company to grow and leverage synergistic regional relationships.

HOPA Ports manages the facility through its subsidiary Great Lakes Port Management. The Hub features infrastructure to reduce transportation costs and boost efficiency, with integrated, multimodal connections on site. www.thebmigroup.ca/project/bioveld-ca...

EVSX Modular Industrial Plants Progress Update

Two of the three modular industrial plants commissioned have passed CSA certification independent review. They will be finalized for delivery and inspection at the manufacturer by the end of the year. Management has retained the services of a tier-one engineering firm that will be on site for the live testing of the modular plants. They will advise on the units' conformity prior to ownership transfer. The units will then be dismantled and shipped to North America. The Company expects the units to be in Canada in the middle of 2023 and ready for operational testing within 45 days of their clearance by the Canada Border Services Agency. The third circuit would follow the same process and be delivered and operational within 60 days of the initial two.

Equipment received

The hydrolysis equipment for lithium hydroxide pilot production ordered from Industrie De Nora S.p.A. and shipped from Japan was received in November. The equipment cleared customs and is being prepared for installation.

ASX index beaters: 5 shares that have supercharged portfolios in 2022
James MickleboroDecember 5, 1:11 pm AEDT

Although the ASX 200 index is on course to record a 3% decline in 2022, some ASX shares have absolutely smashed the market with supercharged returns.

This means that if you had one or more of these ASX index beaters in your portfolio, there’s a good chance that you’ll have outperformed the benchmark this year.

What are the ASX index beaters of 2022?

Five standout ASX index beaters are listed below. Here’s how they have performed in 2022:

Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN)

The Mineral Resources share price is up 56% in 2022. This has been driven largely by the the company’s exposure to lithium and the sky high prices the battery making ingredient is commanding right now.

Myer Holdings Ltd (ASX: MYR)

The Myer share price has been an ASX index beater this year with its gain of 61%. Investors have been buying the department store operator’s shares following the release of an impressive full year result in September. Thanks to its successful focus on profitable sales, Myer reported a 103.8% increase in net profit to $60.2 million during FY 2022.

Origin Energy Ltd (ASX: ORG)

The Origin share price has been a strong performer in 2022 and is up 47%. The catalyst for this was the receipt of a takeover approach in November. The energy company received an indicative, conditional, and non-binding proposal from Brookfield Asset Management and MidOcean Energy to acquire it for $9.00 cash per share. This represents a premium of almost 55% to its share price at the time.

Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS)

The Pilbara Minerals share price is another ASX index beater in 2022 with a gain of almost 34%. This has been driven by the lithium miner’s strong performance and positive outlook. In fact, the company’s outlook is so positive thanks to production growth plans and high prices, that management expects to be able to pay its maiden dividend this financial year.

Sayona Mining Ltd (ASX: SYA)

The Sayona Mining share price is the best performer in the group. In 2022, this lithium developer’s shares are up 66%. Sayona Mining, the third ASX lithium share in the list, is an index beater thanks to excitement around its North American Lithium (NAL) project. Management expects NAL to be producing lithium in the first quarter of 2023.

Productie (project) Quebec start voorjaar 2023.
We zullen zien hoe het in 2024 uitziet.
