De brede markt daalt hard terwijl ARWR een nette plus noteert. ARWR als hedge in deze lastige beurstijden, dat had 4F niet bedacht :-)

Ben benieuwd of de stijgende lijn is ingezet of dat het straks toch weer ploft. Dit helaas bij Arrowhead al zo vaak meegemaakt. Stiekem hoop ik eigenlijk dat alle andere aandelen in mijn portefeuille stijgen en Arrowhead tussendoor nog een keer daalt (bijkoop?).

Je bent wel een fraaie zeg. Ik neem aan dat je een grapje maakt? Maandenlang heb je lopen klagen en zeuren over de dalende koers hier en gaf je commentaar op posters die wezen op mooie bijkoopmomenten (waaronder ikzelf) en nu we eindelijk weer herstellen wil jij nóg een kans om in te slaan? ;-)

Op Yahoo heeft 4F(Amsterdam) het over white candles.....geen idee wat hij daarmee bedoelt. Aankoopsignaal?

Er wordt al ingezet op fomo in de biotechsector. Vooral met een naderende recessie zou deze sector, die al grote klappen heeft gehad en gebodemd lijkt te hebben, het goed moeten doen. (Volgens mij zalt biotech altijd net zo hard mee tijdens een recessie, maar vooruit).

It's interesting that JNJ is starting to talk about a partial cure. I found this following Q&A session from "The Science of HBV Cure Meeting 2022" - vimeo.com/726685524. There are some golden nuggets in this video. The Q&A session followed this presentation by Dr. Lenz: vimeo.com/726676929

We still have not seen data from a number of ongoing trials with JNJ-3989, nor has JNJ hinted on how any of these trials are progressing.

1) The OSPREY trial is the vaccine combo; this trial is 32 weeks in and is beginning to enter the follow-up period. We should get some good data from this trial by this time next year.

2) The PENGUIN trial is the combo with Peg Interferon. Even though the trial ends in April 2023, the first patients in the trial should now be 1 year after completing treatment, so JNJ should have some sense of whether PegIFN helps or not by now, as this is an open-label study.

3) There is also another open label e+ positive combo trial with PegIFN. That had twice as many doses and the first patients are now 1 year after completing treatment.

4) Then there is the OSPREY trial, which has the combo with a vaccine. First patients should have completed dosing and are now entering the 1 year follow-up period. Since the goal is to activate the immune system, this vaccine combo will be interesting. This trial is also open label, so JNJ is able to assess what works best in real-time.

5) Lastly, there is the open label INSIGHT trial. This trial is unique because they're taking biopsies of the liver before and after (and possibly during). This is pretty exciting because if they can show a healing liver, then they will have a material endpoint (other than functional cure) that they can use for a phase 3 trial.

So as you see, there is a LOT of JNJ-3989 data yet to come. Since JNJ continues to talk up the drug (as you see in the videos), it's clear that they're making this the cornerstone drug for treating HBV. If scientific HBV community can establish a new standard for a "partial cure", then I can see HBV treatments being done in a couple phases: first achieve a partial cure, then from there work on a functional cure, as it's becoming more and more apparent that 2 years is not enough to get a functional cure.

On a side note, the two new trials for ARO-RAGE and ARO-MUC5AC are going to be very fast trials, as they're currently scheduled to last under 1 year. So if Arrowhead can establish decent proof of concept in pulmonary, then I can imagine that not only will valuation significantly jump, but the amount of time taken to advance pulmonary drugs through the clinic will be much faster than the liver targets.

Binnenkort even verlies post meegeven zolang dat nog kan.
De cumul met de €/$ is bijzonder aangenaam te verteren.
Ik kon enkele dagen niets posten want IEX vond ook dat ik in vakantie modus moest gaan.
Vermoedelijke check met vakantie IP adres gaven wat problemen maar zonet bericht gekregen dat het weer zou moeten lukken.

Weinig trollen op het ARWR forum.
Laatst hoorde ik iemand roepen dat het hier niet omhoog kon in de toekomst...

Er waren talrijke kansen om wat in te slaan.
Ik hoop dat je niet teveel waarde hechtte aan de zwarte brillen ;-)

Hoogst genoteerde verliespost was 238 k
Nu slechts - 71,54 k in dollars.

Dat loopt lekker terug.

Ter ontnuchtering, de hele biosector loopt omhoog, niet alleen ARWR. Mijn Moderna’s gaan nog een stuk sneller.

Ik stel overigens voor dat bij de volgende biotech dip we allemaal lappen en Piddybull op vakantie sturen, dit lijkt de oplossing te zijn. 4F is waarschijnlijk ook op vakantie maar zit op een plek zonder WiFi.

Klopt natuurlijk Ron.
Ik volg ook graag enkele ex aandelen die pakken sneller winst boeken maar vaak ook nog risico voller in de portefeuille.
SRNE is er mooi vb van.

Ondanks de waardering van $31 miljard had ik er nog nooit van gehoord. Blijkt iets van doen te hebben met diabetes therapie. Novo Nordisk heeft hier een flinke vinger in de pap en haar aankoop van een rnai speler zal niet toevallig geweest zijn. Het CNBC praatje geeft trouwens aan dat de hele biotech sector de laatste jaren onterecht door het putje is gegaan. Dat ARWR met name wordt genoemd als kansrijk geeft mij weer een bevestiging dat we op de goede weg zitten.
