Heb eergisteren braaf m'n dossiertje ingediend bij KBC-Securities (Bolero).. Tabellen Jan De Kerpel met waarderingsschaal Cologuard binnen aandeel MDxHealth.. Oktober een euro eraf omwille van USPSTF-obstructie. Vandaag hapering letterlijk weggeblazen. (Zelf een beetje verrast).
Als de rekenmachines bij KBC-Securities goed werken, zit er misschien morgen-ochtend koersdoelverhoging MDxHealth aan te komen.. We zullen zien.. anders wachten we tot 18.08..

Goed gezien! Toch lekker, winst in 5 dagen waar je bij MDX 5 jaar op moet wachten. Durfde zelf niet te blijven zitten. Ach ja, dan maar op MDX wachten.

Kunnen we hier iets zinnigs uit afleiden?

Q1 EXAS [1]:
Patent costs, which have historically consisted of related legal fees, are capitalized as incurred, only if the Company determines that there is some probably future economic benefit derived from the transaction. The capitalized patents are amortized beginning when patents are approved over an estimated useful life. Capitalized patent costs are expensed upon disapproval, upon a decision by the Company to no longer pursue the patent or when the related intellectual property is either sold or deemed to be no longer of value to the Company. The Company determined that all patent costs incurred during the three months ended March 31, 2016 should be expensed and not capitalized as the future economic benefit derived from the transactions cannot be determined.

Under a technology license and royalty agreement entered into with MDx Health, the Company is required to pay MDx Health milestone-based royalties on sales of products or services covered by the licensed intellectual property. Once the achievement of a milestone has occurred or is considered probable, an intangible asset and corresponding liability is reported in other long-term assets and accrued expenses, respectively. The intangible asset is amortized over the estimated ten-year useful life of the licensed intellectual property, and such amortization is reported in cost of sales. As of March 31, 2016, an intangible asset of $1.7 million and a liability of $2.0 million are reported in other long-term assets and accrued expenses, respectively. As of December 31, 2015, an intangible asset of $1.8 million and a liability of $2.0 million were reported in other long-term assets and accrued expenses, respectively. Amortization expense for the three months ended March 31, 2016 was $50.0 thousand. There was no amortization expense recorded for the three months ended March 31, 2015.

er wordt wel lekker gehandeld bij exas ,al meer dan een kwart van de aandelen over de toonbank en nog een vette plus van 28 %,hopelijk is het besmettelijk.

Agree. Just listened to the Q2 earnings webcast and there is no mention of replacing the biomarker. Also no questions about it during Q&A. I think it was a desperate move of the executive team in preparation of large cost savings should USPSTF not have revised its recommendation.

well I seem to have lost my reply to the question raised.

1st paragraph is explaining that as they do not think that "their" patent are worth "capitalising" i.e. turning into an asset they are therefore going to expense it.

@NielsjeB.. lijkt me erg "technische uiteenzetting" ivm mijlpaalbetalingen..

Wat ik eerder genoteerd had ivm mijlpaalbetalingen EXAS aan MDxHealth..
750.000 dollar na eerste omzet 50 miljoen dollar...
en vervolgens jaarlijks 1 miljoen dollar telkens meer dan 50 miljoen jaar-omzet gedraaid wordt.
Akkoord loopt tot 2028..

En dan natuurlijk royalties die wellicht ergens tussen 3 en 5 % van omzet bedragen..
Als je Kevin Conroy hoort is het eerder 3 a 4 % .. Als je Jan Groen hoort eerder 4 a 6 %..

Zojuist Q2-persconferentie EXAS nog eens beluisterd..
Q2 54.000 verkochte tests.. Q3 prognose +65.000.. Q4-prognose +81.000
Reken 15 a 20 dollar per test richting MDxHealth.. dat begint nu echt aardig te tellen..

Meeste commercial payers moeten Cologuard nog toevoegen.. Na USPSTF-beslissing wordt versnelling verwacht.
Dus dat kan vanaf Q1-2017 kwartaalverkopen +100.000 gaan betekenen?!?!!
Dan rekenen we gemakkelijk naar 5-10 miljoen euro inkomsten voor 2017 richting MDxHealth waar ze niets voor moeten doen..

Wetende dat MDxHealth 2015..17,64 miljoen euro inkomsten had..
en waar feitelijk ConfirmMDx en geleidelijk ook SelectMDx de belangrijkste omzetten moeten genereren..

Second paragraph seems to indicate that they have paid $800k between 31.12.2015 and 30.06.2016

They have also in the meantime put as long term asset $1.8m with an amortisation $100k and for which they consider as a long term liability of $1m

So there is a gap of $700K. Was this also paid?

As you know on the balance sheet everything as to balance :)

Volgens mij volg je dit aandeel nog niet zo heel lang?
Iedereen weet dat bij een echte uitbraak, deze stukjes als sneeuw voor de zon verdwenen zijn.

Dat kun je en mag je geloven! Maar een computer heeft niet oneindig veel aandelen om te verkopen!
Verder is het wel iemand die durft als hij short gaat en jullie verwachten een uitbraak!
Maar in ieder geval succes ermee

Ik heb nu echt het idee dat het allemaal toch sneller gaat gebeuren dan initieel gepland. Dhr. Groen is danwel geen media-wonder. Hij heeft al wel op verschillende manieren proberen duidelijk te maken dat winst eerder in het verschiet ligt dan gedacht. Ik denk dat dit moment de echte opmars is naar zwarte cijfers. AJB geen overname voor die tijd!

Het is wel belachelijk hoe overduidelijk de koers wordt gedrukt momenteel. Welke idioot legt er nou 52.000 stuks in de laat op 3.60 en zorgt er tegelijk voor dat de 3,57 onuitputtelijk wordt aangevuld. Aangezien een overnamepremie vaak wordt gerelateerd aan het 30 of 50 daags gemiddelde, kan dit inderdaad wel eens het langverwachte eindspel zijn.

52000 stuks a 3,6 is voor een grote (institutionele) belegger (nog geen 2 ton) geen issue... dus zou opgegeten moeten worden als er vraag ontstaat vanuit die kant.
