ProQR Announces Proposed Public Offering of Ordinary Shares

LEIDEN, the Netherlands, Nov. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ProQR Therapeutics N.V. (PRQR), a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to changing lives through the creation of transformative RNA medicines for the treatment of severe genetic rare diseases, today announced that it intends to offer and sell its ordinary shares in an underwritten public offering. All of the shares are being offered by ProQR. In addition, in the public offering, ProQR expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional ordinary shares, on the same terms and conditions. Concurrently with the underwritten public offering, ProQR is conducting a registered direct offering. Both offerings are subject to market conditions and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offerings may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

ProQR intends to use the net proceeds from both offerings to fund its clinical trials, ongoing research and development activities and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

H.C. Wainwright & Co. is acting as sole book-running manager for the public offering, with National Securities Corporation acting as co-manager. The registered direct offering is being made without an underwriter or a placement agent.

A shelf registration statement relating to the offered ordinary shares was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 2, 2015, which was declared effective on October 19, 2015. Erg vervelend deze onzekerheid.
Hopelijk slaagt de emissie en is de onzekerheid snel uit de markt.

Ik zit er ook nog in. En ik denk dat er vele een tijd terug aan een vele hogere koers aangekocht hebben. Ik heb er nog wel vertrouwen in. Alleen vraag ik me af hoe ver we nog gaan zakken...

helaas...ik zit er nog (vol) in...niet vanwege PRQR, maar de smerigheid vd handel.

Ik had dit enerzijds wel verwacht, maar niet in deze mate.

Biotechs moeten nu eenmaal geld ophalen voor hun R&D en zo was dat ook voor PRQR te verwachten. Dus vanaf een hogere waardering gewoon shorten en bij een emissie op lagere koersen weer glad strijken.

Gezien het koersverloop na de bemoedigende resultaten mbt CF was dit de bedoeling ook. Geruststellend mag zijn dat de HH na vullen van hun zakken met goedkope aandelen PRQR, de koers weer skyhigh zullen werken...pfff

Ik weet nu precies weer waarom ik de beurs achter me had gelaten...die wereld is fucked up!

Die manipulatie kom je idd jammer genoeg te vaak tegen op de beurs. Ik heb ook nog een groot aantal proqr aandelen sinds de opleving van maart. Al overweeg ik nu wel om bij te kopen...

Intussen weeral meer als 500 000 stuks verhandeld.

Het is nog even afwachten maar geloof niet dat we ver onder die drie gaan zakken. De reden vd daling is nu gekend. En de daling van deze grote staat niet helemaal in contrast vind ik met de goede berichten die ze afgelopen maanden naar buiten gebracht hebben.

ik zit er gemiddeld voor plm 5$ in...ben nu niet bang dat ik verlies zal lijden op moment van uitstappen..ff geduld en denk dat PRQR marktcap van 1000mln wel gaat halen...jammer genoeg is de verwatering nu wel aanzienlijker dan wanneer men bijv. op 10$ had kunnen emitteren.

We hebben allemaal die voorkennis...cashburn en tzt vers kapitaal nodig, maar wij zijn niet instaat met top-hard/software en kapitaal de koers op de knieën te krijgen.
Financials hebben wellicht al een miljardje winst te pakken alvorens PRQR op die marktcap staat.

Zelf zit ik er in voor gemiddeld 5,9 usd. Niet zo best dat ze op all time low een emissie aankondigen. Zelf ben ik wel heel benieuwd hoe u bij die 1000mld komt en binnen welk tijdstermijn.

Banken/financials hebben altijd voorkennis(!)...wat banken met hun kennis en macht doen hoef ik slechts te verwijzen naar Google en zoek eens op bank+fraude etc.
...kijk maar eens waarin en waarmee banken verwikkeld zijn of zijn geweest; alles wat 'God'verboden heeft hebben zij zich al schuldig gemaakt (al menen zij het werk van (hun) God te doen..haha...Baal ja...).
Koers/rentemanipulaties, over-kreditering, misleiding (beleggingsadviezen), 'foutieve'boeterentes (altijd ih voordeel vd bank), verborgen kosten/provisies, witwassen, heling, belastingont...ehh...wijking...haha...en de lijst is lang.

Die emissie is niet op all time low aangekondigd...de manipulatie naar all time low zette al in, in aanloop naar de aankondiging (snap je het nog?).

Wanneer een biotech de verwachtingen steeds meer inlost...dus vorderingen in het lab, klinische studis etc. en de progressie is er, dan kan je dat min of meer vertalen naar de waarde van een bedrijf...de zgn marktcap.
De marktcap is weer o.a. gebaseerd op toekomstige verwachtingen t.a.v. omzet en winst.
Nu is er bijv. een verlies tgv R&D, maar wanneer 1 of meerdere producten de markt halen, dan kan je gissen naar de verdiensten...en de winstmarge is dan relatief groot omdat de kosten (R&D, maar ook patentrechten etc.) voor die baat zijn uitgegaan..

Wanneer je naar peers kijkt die wat verder zijn in hun ontwikkelingen/trials, dan kan je zien dat een marktcap van 1-3 mld niet onmogelijk is...dus zonder dat er nog winst behaald hoeft te zijn.
PRQR is nu met een paar studies bezig, maar als dat leidt tot succes, dan is het eenvoudig om het aantal studies/trials flink op te voeren in de slipstream van o.a. CF.

Hi Ivet,

Ik herinner me een stukje van onze vriend bij de VEB nadat Crucell verkwanselt werd aan J&J. Ik had me toen voorgenomen uit de biotech te blijven, maar ja het bloed kruipt,... Wat ik wel geleerd heb in de loop der jaren is dat je een biotech moet beoordelen op wat ze in huis hebben, wat er op de plank ligt en wie er aan het roer staan. Hoe liggen hun connecties etc.? Als dat in orde is komt het allemaal wel goed, maar verwacht niet teveel (een dubbeltje wordt geen €1000, dan moet je bij de IT wereld zijn) en heb geduld.
