Heb ik gewoon via ‘contact’ gedaan (onderaan site onder ‘algemeen’). Daarna kun je uit drie IEX afdelingen kiezen: redactie, klantenservice of forum. Nog geen reactie ontvangen overigens n.a.v. mijn forum-vraag

Hallo iedereen, zeker niet in de val trappen en jullie aandelen goed bijhouden. Eens LWLG een deal sluit stijgen ze snel omhoog en als je dan te laat bent is de trein al vertrokken. Dit is mijn gevoel. Gr.

Ik heb wel spijt van een aantal aandelen die ik kocht aan 11 euro om op korte termijn wat te "verdienen". Een verkoop kan nog lang duren. Wie weet hoelang dit nu weer gaat duren om gewoon terug op 11 euro te komen.

90% heb ik gekocht vr de lange termijn echter.

Deze downtrend is een gevolg van gebrek aan nieuws (deals, partnering, uplisting, grote partijen die belangen nemen, etc.). Zonder nieuws geen fantasie en dan is de koers een prooi voor MM’s, daytraders en shorters. Ik heb gisteren (achteraf te vroeg) bijgekocht, maar wacht nu totdat de $7 serieus getest wordt. Fundamenteel is natuurlijk niets veranderd en staat LWLG nog steeds op het punt te commercialiseren. Deze ‘downwalks’ kunnen dus mooi gebruikt worden om gestaffeld bij te kopen of voor het eerst in te stappen.

Alleen Lebby weet wanneer het ‘dealtime’ is en als dát bekend wordt, zullen we een nog veel grotere koersexplosie zien (á la Qualcomm) dan de rally die we nu tot 17$ hebben gehad…

7) Wasn't selling at $17, $14, $11, $10, $9 or $7 so it doesn't bother me. Emotions are the death of investors and investing. JMHO

Hier hou ik me maar een beetje aan vast maar al wel weer de helft van de papieren winst weg :-(

Terugtest rond de $7 met wellicht een uitschieter naar $6. En dat allemaal wegens gebrek aan nieuws. Strategisch gezien denk ik tot er een Nasdaq listing is dit de gebruikelijke koers schommelingen zullen zijn. Eenmaal er een Nasdaq listing is dan worden we overgoten met positief nieuws over samenwerking etc. Daarmee wordt dan onderschreven dat LWLG op de Nasdaq thuishoort. Dit is naar mijn gevoel wat ik hoop dat er gaat gebeuren. Maar het is maar een theorie. De tijd zal het leren. Heb een pluk verkocht op $10 en die zou ik graag terugkopen op $6-7 ..

Even een heel gedurfde vraag: stel dat iemand als Michael Lebby nu ziek zou worden?
Natuurlijk naast het feit dat dit verschrikkelijk is voor hem en zijn naasten, en dat hij dan hopelijk weer zeer snel geneest, zijn er dan bv ook gevolgen voor het bedrijf?

Nogmaals, zeker niet ongepast bedoeld, en bedrijf is dan totale bijzaak voor hem uiteraard.

Uit onderstaand artikel blijkt in ieder geval dat Global Foundries nadrukkelijk naar (silicon) photonics wijst als 'the way ahead' en daarin de samenwerking met andere partijen omarmt:

GlobalFoundries will announce plans to expand its $15 billion computer chip manufacturing complex in Saratoga County next week.

The long-anticipated announcement is scheduled for July 19 at the company's headquarters in Malta. GlobalFoundries also plans to reveal its new brand the same day.

Chief executive Tom Caulfield confirmed the announcement through invitations emailed on Monday to government officials and business leaders.

The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The decision to expand comes as Congress debates whether to set aside up to $52 billion for semiconductor research and manufacturing to increase production capacity in the United States. Calls for increased government funding have escalated amid chip supply shortages that have slowed production of cars, trucks, mobile devices and laptops.

U.S. Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and the Biden Administration have pushed heavily for the federal government to provide more semiconductor funding to help America remain competitive with China, South Korea and other emerging economies where governments have subsidized industry expansion.

GlobalFoundries' announcement follows its decision in June 2020 to secure an option from New York state to purchase 66 acres in the Saratoga Technology + Energy Park. That property would allow GlobalFoundries to increase its current manufacturing complex to more than 300 acres.

The company manufacturers chips for customers who design products for smartphones, laptops, vehicles and mobile devices. GlobalFoundries currently employs more than 3,000 at its Malta complex.

Executives have discussed the potential for building a second factory in the Luther Forest Technology Campus since 2012 when the company started production at its current complex.

New York state has awarded more than $2 billion in benefits since GlobalFoundries began construction in Saratoga County 12 years ago. Now, the federal government could be ready to step in to convince more manufacturers to increase domestic production.

What appeared to be an early sign came in April when GlobalFoundries announced it was moving its headquarters from Santa Clara, California, to the Malta complex in upstate New York. At the time, Caulfield said purchasing employees, finance staff, the legal team and other non-customer facing functions were all moving to upstate New York.

The same day the company announced its headquarters move, Schumer discussed his plan to call for federal funding to reduce America's reliance on computer chips made in China and South Korea.

"This $50 billion, a good part of it, is going to go to help build plants," Schumer said in April. "The bottom line is very simple. ... We don't make them here as much as we should."

The United States controlled 37% of global semiconductor manufacturing capacity in 1990. Since then, the U.S. share of the market has fallen to 12%, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association.

Invitations to the event indicate that Schumer is expected to attend GlobalFoundries' announcement at the Malta complex on Monday. The senator's staff said Schumer has not yet confirmed his availability.

Onderstaande link al eerder gepost, maar het moge duidelijk zijn dat LWLG intensief met foundries samenwerkt:

Dr. Lebby emphasized that LWLG is working with foundries (plural) to provide them with PDKs to allow LWLG IP to be embedded into the foundries’ processes to enable various foundry customers to produce components that include LWLG polymers.

GF past zeker bij het plaatje van LWLG. Hopelijk wordt dit concreet want dat kan de koers wel gebruiken. Vandaag slechts klein verlies. Het moment om wat bij te kopen? Ik overweeg het zeker.

Hallo iedereen, ik ben nieuw hier. Kom hier toevallig terecht. Ben al van in 2014 slapend aandeelhouder van LWLG. Toen stond de koers nog rond of beneden de 1 dollar. Zijn er hier nog leden van Macrotrends aanwezig.

So it looks more and more like Lightwave is going to bypass the middleman and work directly with foundries, doing it this way prevents the middleman from controlling the product, the middleman (Intel like companies) will have to buy from Lightwave/Foundry Company (New Entity to be formed?) and become a customer. Lightwave moves up the ladder, they can sell the same product to another Middleman (Cisco). Games will be Played Guys, Mark my word, Games will be played because this will be a paradigm shift. Or the Intel's and Cisco's of the world need to throw out an offer that we can not refuse for this particular market use of Lightwaves materials, then Lightwave can move onto something else, Lidar for example.
