Absoluut, daarom je kan blijven lezen tot je een ons weegt, zijn ook genoeg verhalen van beide kanten, echter aantal maanden terug kon ik mezelf overtuigen van de stijgende lijn van de mondiale staal markt, momenteel kan ik dat niet, vandaar mijn beslissing een tijd terug om uit te stappen, wat in ieder geval wel zeker is met dit aandeel is dat er leuke korte ritten te maken vallen zoals een aantal leden hier meermaals hebben aangegeven haha.

Thanks, open nu en positie weer verzilverd na instappen rit op 24,89. Nu weer positie innemen en trachten aan te kopen. Nog stukken in de hogere regionen die weg mogen;-)

Heb juist verkocht met 400 euro winst. sta nu op 1700. Ben nu ingestapt met turbo long op AMD. Hoop daar nog eens profijt te doen.

Ik ben een opportunist puur sang MVX;-)Ben niet zo zeer pessimistisch maar wel zeer realistisch. Ik stel mijn eigen dalingspatroon op en anticipeer daarop.

Vorige week vrijdag de 25,11 ingekocht, zag het nog naar de 24,94 gaan, wellicht nog wel lager, maar gelukkig het slot op 25,20. De US een mooie spurt omhoog maar deze werd maandag in de EU niet meer waargemaakt en dus die positie op de tweede rebound op 25,47 verkocht, hoger durfde ik niet en dat was meer goed ook.

Dus, pessimistisch ingesteld nee, realistisch ja. Met de wetenschap dat de beurs nooit stilstaat of in rechte lijnen omhoog of omlaag gaat kan je dan nog evengoed wat GAK verlagen.

Klopt. Maar ik geloof niet meer in de pre-market getallen. Zie vorige week wat voor rolercoaster ride er uit vandaan kwam. Voorbeurs mooi groen, tijdens fel rood, dan weer voorbeurs fel rood, tijdens de beurs optrekkend naar groen.

Zeg het maar, ik kan er geen touw aan vastknopen. Dow nu op flat, in het groen, correctie +0,02% ;-)

ArcelorMittal (MT) Inks Letter of Intent for Gent DRI Plant

ArcelorMittal MT recently announced the signing of a letter of intent with the governments of Belgium and Flanders in support of a €1.1-billion project to build a 2.5 million-ton direct reduced iron (DRI) plant at its Gent site and two new electric furnaces. The DRI plant will ensure nearly 3 million tons of reduced carbon dioxide emissions annually by 2030 as it uses natural gas and potential hydrogen instead of coal to reduce iron ore consumption, thus considerably reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The plant will function alongside Gent’s blast furnace B, which restarted production in March 2021 after an investment of €195 million investment. Combining the new DRI plant with a sustainable, modernized blast furnace will generate synergies in the efforts to create climate-neutral steelmaking by the company’s Belgium wing.

The support of both governments is vital since the transition to carbon-neutral steelmaking entails high costs. A funding endorsement by the European Commission is another requirement for the project.

The company has several other de-carbonization initiatives on its agenda, including the commissioning of Gent’s Steelanol/Carbalyst and Torero projects in 2022, which promise annual carbon dioxide emissions reduction of 0.9 million tons by 2030.

The initiatives will enable ArcelorMittal Belgium to reduce emissions by 3.9 million tons annually by 2030 and contribute to ArcelorMittal Europe’s aim to attain carbon neutrality by 2050. This is equivalent to the emissions from 848,172 cars being driven for a year.

In its plan for 2050, the company is focused on ensuring energy efficiency, implementing smart carbon technologies like replacing fossil carbon with circular carbon, reforming waste gas into useful compounds, and replacing carbon with hydrogen as a reducing element.

ArcelorMittal expressed gratitude for the support of the government. The project, the third de-carbonization one in the last two months, is a testimony of its zeal and dedication to accelerate the company’s efforts in net-zero steelmaking.

Shares of ArcelorMittal have surged 112% in a year, outperforming the industry’s rise of 88%. Its expected earnings growth rate for the current year is a whopping 1,807.8%.

In its last-quarter earnings call, ArcelorMittal raised its outlook for global apparent steel consumption (ASC) for 2021 as it expects demand to improve further in the second half of the year. It now envisions ASC growth in the range of 7.5-8.5% for 2021, up from its earlier expected growth of 4.5-5.5%. It noted that a favorable supply-demand balance and a low inventory environment are driving utilization levels and healthy steel spreads.

Nee, niet knap, gewoon geluk, mazzel. De verkoop gekoppeld aan de hapering in de markt. Eerst had hij de 49 aangetikt, toen weer naar beneden, toen weer omhoog en eieren voor mijn geld gekozen.

Omdat ik van mijn plek moest gewoon het zekere voor het onzekere en een koop onder de 25,00 gezet, gewoon gevoel en common sence. Als je er geen zicht op hebt niet gokken dat er geen daling kan komen.

Echte mazzel zou ik hebben gehad als ik 2 cent boven DL had gekocht, oh nee wacht, dan had ik onzin verteld, dat was het;-)

Behalve dan vandaag, is er 1 beleggings-strateeg, die van 52 naar 50 euro gaat.
