Inderdaad, van al mijn verschillende individuele aandelen stond alles dik in het rood behalve Nio, Polestar én Allego. Terwijl die laatste de dag ervoor 33% was gestegen.
Gelukkig een paar lichtpuntjes in die, wat mij betreft, zwaar overtrokken marktreaktie.
EV is de toekomst, en nu maar hopen dat ik de juiste er uit heb gepikt.

Ook nog xpeng, Ebusco en een clean energy etf.
Xpeng ga ik zeker ook nog oppikken met nog vele andere aandelen. Ik verwacht nog zeker een correctie naar beneden.
Ovako to Partner Polestar 0 Project

Swedish steel maker Ovako is partnering up in the Polestar 0 project, committed to collaborate on the company’s goal to produce a climate neutral car by 2030. Ovako´s role in this project will be to put extra resources on maximum reduction of CO2-footprint due to upstream effects from alloying content as well as increasing the reuse of the internal waste produced and thus even further cutting the need for sourcing virgin raw materials. Ovako CEO Mr Marcus Hedblom said “To stretch our efforts even further we have decided to take up the challenge and join in the Polestar 0 project, committed to collaborate on the Polestar moon-shot goal to produce a truly climate-neutral car by 2030.”

The Polestar 0 Project will eliminate, not reduce, all greenhouse gas emissions from every aspect of production. From conception all the way to customer delivery, target will be met without resorting to offsetting until there are solutions with proven results in place. Zero will mean zero. The project has been split into three stages, leading up to our 2030 target.

From a world leading position and since 1 January 2022, Ovako produces all engineering steel through 100% carbon neutral operations and with above 97% in recycled content in the steel products, the company will continue its journey towards lowest carbon footprint possible. Further plans for improvements are announced in the latest sustainability report. At these levels Ovako’s crude steel operations being about 95% below world steel average and 80% below on a cradle to gate perspective, the company is still not satisfied.

Gothenburg Sweden based Swedish electric performance car company Polestar is accelerating its work to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by welcoming twelve new partners to the Polestar 0 project, who are committed to collaborate on the company’s moon-shot goal to produce a truly climate-neutral car by 2030 without offsetting. The new and existing partners are industry leaders, now actively working on the Polestar 0 project. The SUV for the electric age - Polestar 3 premieres on 12 October

Polestar 3 is a powerful, design-led electric performance SUV that appeals to the senses with a distinct shape and excellent driving dynamics. Built on a new all-electric technology base developed by and shared with Volvo Cars, it features the latest in high-tech components – like centralised core computing from NVIDIA and a long list of advanced safety systems from Volvo Cars and leading industry suppliers including Zenseact, Luminar and Smart Eye.

"We had to ask ourselves: 'what should a modern SUV look like?' Polestar 3 defines the SUV for the electric age and in designing it, we addressed some of the fundamentals of the archetype: proportions, stance and aerodynamics," says Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.

Performance is key for Polestar, going deeper than just straight-line acceleration. At launch, all versions feature a rear-biased dual motor powertrain with electric torque vectoring via a dual clutch system on the rear electric motor. This is met by adaptive dual-chamber air suspension and active dampers as standard, which allows Polestar 3 to switch between comfort and firm suspension dynamics, and adjust the dampers to suit road conditions once every two milliseconds (500 Hz).

Thomas Ingenlath continues: "It's this instant ability to transform from a comfortable cruiser to a sharp, agile performance car in less than the blink of an eye that makes Polestar 3 special as an electric performance SUV. It also benefits from a low centre of gravity and wide track for ultimate stability, and an exciting feeling behind the wheel."

The optional Performance Pack enables maximum output of 380 kW and 910 Nm, along with Polestar Engineered chassis tuning for the active dampers and air suspension. Polestar's signature Swedish gold details are also added, including valve caps, seat belts and a laser-etched interior light strip.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden, Oct. 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Polestar Automotive Holding UK PLC ("Polestar" or the "Company," Nasdaq: PSNY), the Swedish electric performance car brand, delivered approximately 9,215 vehicles in the third quarter of 2022, bringing the total year-to-date to approximately 30,400 cars for the first nine months of 2022, up 100% year-on-year.

A recent ramp up in production following Covid-19 disruptions in China earlier in the year has resulted in significantly higher production rates and the company expects to meet its 50,000 global volume target for 2022 by delivering the remaining vehicles in the fourth quarter.

"We needed to catch up on production after Covid-19 related setbacks in China and we have. The majority of Polestar 2 cars set for delivery in Q4 are ready and making their way to our customers in 27 markets around the world, with the fourth quarter set to be our strongest on record yet. Gaat inderdaad erg lastig worden.

Polestar inmiddels weggezakt. Binnenkort maar eens bijkopen om mijn gak te verlagen. Polestar gaat er wel komen.
Alle EV's en duurzaam gerelateerde aandelen krijgen de klappen in deze heftige tijden. Ik wacht nog even. Ik heb mijn rest (voortvloeiend uit de GGPI units) met verlies verkocht om cash te regenereren en mijn portefeuillestrategie aan te passen en klaar te zijn als er enig herstel komt tzt.

Om meer onafhankelijk te zijn/worden, zouden meer fabrieken buiten China opgeiijnd moeten worden (Volvo fabrieken gedeeltelijk transformeren met Polestar fabriekslijnen).
Als Polestar 3 gaat lopen (fabriek in South Carolina) kan dit positief zijn. Als er geen orkanen daar zijn ;)

Want het wil wel, vorige week dinsdag plots 14%. Bij zo'n stroom positieve berichten steeds zakken voelt zo vreemd.
Gisteren op die 5,22 dollar ook weer gekocht. Al denk ik iedere keer 'lager wordt ie echt nooit meer', wat dan toch gebeurt..

Polestar Reported Strong EV Deliveries. Why the Stock Fell.

The latest delivery results from Polestar Automotive look solid, while the outlook for deliveries is even better. Investors seemed to be pleased before the September jobs number tanked the stock market.

Friday, the electric vehicle maker (ticker: PSNY) announced it delivered 9,215 vehicles in the third quarter, bringing its total to 30,400 through the first nine months of the year. The company added that it expects to hit its full-year forecast of 50,000 units.

“We needed to catch up on production after Covid-19 related setbacks in China and we have,” said Polestar CEO, Thomas Ingenlath in the company’s news release. Polestar cars are assembled in China, and lockdowns to fight Covid-19 there have constrained automotive production across the country for months.

“The majority of Polestar 2 cars set for delivery in Q4 are ready and making their way to our customers in 27 markets around the world, with the fourth quarter set to be our strongest on record yet,” the CEO said.

The stock rose in early trading, but turned around after the U.S. nonfarm payrolls report for September made it clear that the job market is still strong. Stocks sold off across the market as investors interpreted the data as a sign that the Federal. Reserve will continue to raise interest rates aggressively to cool the economy and reduce inflation.

Polestar stock closed down 7.1% at $5.23 a share, but most other EV stocks were weak as well. Tesla (TSLA) shares shed 6.3%. . The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite finished down 2.8% and 3.8%, respectively.

Investors could have used some good news. Coming into Friday trading, Polestar stock was down about 41% over the past three months and off about 52% so far this year. Inflation and rising interest rates have sapped investors’ enthusiasm for higher growth companies that don’t make money yet.

Polestar qualifies as one of those. Sales are expected to more than double between 2022 and 2023, but Wall Street doesn’t project full-year operating profits until 2025.

Rivian roept al zijn wagens terug
Wie na lang wachten zijn elektrische wagen van Rivian Automotive in ontvangst mocht nemen, moet hem binnenkort weer afgeven. Blijkt nu dat een technisch mankement dat maakt dat de bestuurder de controle over het stuur kan verliezen. Er worden 13.000 wagens voor herstelling teruggeroepen. Dat is erg fors, want de groep produceerde nog maar 14 300 wagens. Rivian heeft de getroffen klanten op de hoogte gebracht van de terugroepactie nadat het zeven meldingen kreeg over het mankement. Er werden geen gewonden gemeld als gevolg van het defect, meldt financieel-econoom Tom Simonts.

Van 50.000 naar 25.000

Rivian is een nieuwbakken producent van elektrische wagens. En dat vlot aardig, want vorige week liet het management vol trots weten dat het tot dusver al 14.317 voertuigen produceerde, waarvan meer dan 7.000 stuks in het derde kwartaal. Dat is hoogste kwartaaltotaal tot nu toe. Het bedrijf bevestigde ook dat het op schema blijft om 25.000 voertuigen te produceren in 2022. Rivian zei in een verklaring dat het een totaal van 7.363 voertuigen geproduceerd in zijn Illinois-fabriek in het derde kwartaal, en dat 6.584 voertuigen werden geleverd aan haar klanten tijdens de periode.

De autobouwer had oorspronkelijk verwacht om 50.000 voertuigen te bouwen in 2022. Maar het halveerde die verwachting in maart omdat wereldwijde problemen met de bevoorrading “een laag van complexiteit” toevoegde aan haar plan om de productie te verhogen.

Opvallend is dat Rivian eerder dit jaar al ongeveer 500 2022 R1T elektrische pick-uptrucks, die verkocht werden in de Verenigde Staten, terugriep omdat de airbags mogelijk niet worden gedeactiveerd wanneer een kind op de voorste passagiersstoel zit.

80% waardedaling

Misschien moet de groep maar eens beter haar huidig productieproces stevig tegen het licht houden, om te vermijden dat er binnenkort weer een terugroepactie nodig is. We zijn benieuwd wat dat met het vertrouwen van de kopers doet. En met dat van de belegger, want die is er alvast niet over te spreken. Sinds de topkoers van november 2021 verloor de groep al 80% van zijn marktwaarde, al bedraagt die niettemin nog altijd 31 miljard dollar.

Polestar 3 is een beauty en zeer geavanceerd. Wat een technieken.
Niet voor de normale gebruiker ook kijkend naar de prijs, maar wel zeer bijzonder. Overal is aan gedacht.
Productie start medio 2023 en verkoop eind 2023.

Aandeel reageert absoluut NIET.

Polestar wordt een auto voor rijken en dan is de vraag kiest de klant voor een groot (elite) merk of voor dit?
Gelukkig staat de $ sterk nu (en de € zwak).

The 517-hp Polestar 3 EV SUV will be built in America

Polestar officially took the wraps off its latest creation, the Polestar 3 electric SUV. The stats are quite impressive, but what’s even more intriguing is where the Polestar 3 will be made.

“Polestar 3 is a powerful electric SUV that appeals to the senses with a distinct, Scandinavian design and excellent driving dynamics," said Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath in a statement. "It takes our manufacturing footprint to the next level, bringing Polestar production to the United States. We are proud and excited to expand our portfolio as we continue our rapid growth."

Polestar will begin global production of the SUV at the Volvo plant in Chengdu, China, starting in mid 2023 but then will switch production for North America and other markets starting in mid 2024 out of Volvo’s plant in Ridgeville, South Carolina. Polestar’s other cars have been built in China, which is all part of the “asset-light” business model that Polestar is employing to build cars at existing plants owned by Volvo and its other corporate parent, Geely (0175.HK), based in China.

Other key stats for the Polestar 3 include its powertrain, which will be a dual motor setup capable of 517 hp and 671 lb-ft of torque with the optional Performance Pack, with power going to all four wheels. Range is estimated to be around 300 miles from a full charge (EPA estimated) coming from its 111 kWh battery. The Polestar 3 will come standard with dual-chamber air suspension and active dampers for full chassis control over a variety of terrain.

Polestar says the SUV will be capable of bidirectional charging, and with autonomous features like Pilot Pack with LiDAR, which Polestar says will enable “enhanced 3D scanning of the car's surroundings in greater detail and helping to prepare the car for autonomous driving.”

Like other Polestar vehicles, the car will feature Google’s (GOOGL) Android Automotive OS as its in-car operating system, which is a deeper, more ingrained software package that controls a number of features and systems of the car. Polestar says the system will allow OTA updates and the addition of new features without a dealer visit.

At launch the company says the Polestar 3 in Long range Dual motor specification will start at $83,900, and customers in launch markets can place their orders now on the Polestar website.

De inschrijvingen cq voorverkoopaantallen zullen bepalend zijn voor een evt. eerste stijging weer.
Daarna moeten we wachten op resultaten en winstgevendheid, maar dan zijn we minimaal 1 jaar verder.
