Precies Ruud, de koersbewegingen van AM zijn en volatiel en redelijk voorspelbaar. Op tijd uitstappen om daarna weer lager in te stappen zorgt voor leuk dag/weekhandel.

ArcelorMittal today announces that Stephanie Werner-Dietz will join the company on 1st September 2022 as Executive Vice President and global head of human resources.

Bart Wille, who currently holds this position, has decided to retire at the end of this year following a career of 37 years in human resources management.

Stephanie joins ArcelorMittal from Nokia, where she is Chief People Officer and a member of the Group Leadership Team. In this position she has responsibility for all people-related topics including human resource management, real estate and health and safety. She recently launched Nokia’s new people strategy, which has a strong emphasis on growth, skills and development.

She joined Nokia in 1998 after graduating from university, and in nearly 25 years with the company has held various HR leadership positions in Germany, Finland, China, Switzerland, the Philippines, the US and Romania. A German native, she holds a diploma in applied business languages (Chinese) and international business studies from the University of Applied Sciences of Bremen, in Germany.

Stephanie will report to Aditya Mittal, Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal, and will also work closely on human resources issues with Mr Lakshmi N. Mittal in his role of Executive Chairman. She will be based in the company’s head office in Luxembourg.

Eerst was het $ 50, dan $ 45 en nu weer $ 46.

Kijk eens naar Just Eat takeaway de adviezen waren nog niet zolang geleden € 100. Nu zitten ze onder de € 20. Niet blindstaren op adviezen.

het gaat hier om de koersdoelen van de analisten. Een aandeel is zoveel waard als men er voor wil betalen.

Wereldwijde staalproductie daalt verder

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) De mondiale staalproductie is ook in april weer gedaald. Dit bleek dinsdag uit cijfers van brancheorganisatie World Steel Association.

In totaal vervaardigden de 64 staalproducerende landen vorige maand 163 miljoen ton staal, een daling van 5,1 procent op jaarbasis. In maart ging het om een productiekrimp van 5,8 procent.

Dat kwam onder meer door China, wereldwijd met afstand de grootste fabrikant van staal. Daar daalde de productie vorige maand met 5,2 procent tot 92,8 miljoen ton.

In de VS daalde de productie in april met 3,9 procent, naar 6,9 miljoen ton.

In Rusland steeg de productie naar schatting fractioneel en in Japan daalde die met 4,4 procent.

De EU kende in april een productiekrimp van 5,4 procent tot 12,3 miljoen ton. In Duitsland daalde de productie met ruim een procent.

Mee eens met Gotcha dat de adviezen met een grof korreltje zout genomen moeten worden.
@Gotcha: Ben jij nu een realist puur sang die iedereen met de voetjes op de grond houdt, of geloof je intrinsiek niet dat de koers (ooit) de lucht in schiet?

In de eerste plaats het eerste. Maar zolang men bezig is met dat inkopen gaat die koers zeker omhoog schieten. En als de inkoop voorbij is zullen er wel nieuwe factoren opduiken die ervoor zorgen dat de koers opnieuw zakt.

dat inkopen dat heeft niet zoveel invloed op de koers. Het is niet hetzelfde als dat een partij voor een miljard aandelen gaat kopen in een maand.

vandaar ook dat ik 35+ als koersdoel zie de komende periode en dan wel euro's alhoewel verschil tussen de valuta ook niet veel meer is.
