Glovo in Spanje, Italië, Bulgarije en Polen.
Foodpanda in Slovakije.

Ja afgerond juli vorig jaar.
Website lijkt niet bijgewerkt.

Foodpanda Germany is volgens mij alweer opgeheven.

DHER heeft nu een market cap van ruim 14 miljard en JET 5. Bij een fusie zal waardering van beide bedrijven >30 miljard zijn denk ik.
Kunnen ze stoppen elkaar kapot te concurreren in Spanje, Italie en nog een paar andere landen.

Jullie zien meerwaarde van een fusie niet, het is kwestie van tijd dat JET wordt overgenomen en lage waardering maakt dit heel interessant. Sommige riepen toen koer op 13 stond dat aandeel lager dan 10 euro zou worden maar inmiddels bijna verdubbeld.

Als JET stopt met activiteiten in SEAUNZ hebben ze netto winst. Jitse heeft door verkoop genoeg door te gaan met investeren en weet dat peers noodgedwongen zullen stoppen zodra ze personeel op payroll moeten zetten.

Thank you. Let me first answer your first question. In relation to Delivery Hero, we don't really
compete with them. I know that's the general feeling that people have, but I think we compete
with them in Denmark and Austria, maybe forgetting something, but I think that's it.
I think generally, everybody in this environment needs to become profitable. And that should
mean that the level of competition goes down. It maybe doesn't go down gradually, maybe goes
abruptly like in Holland where our competitors Deliveroo disappeared. But it should go down.
Now in that environment, what you would expect is that the positions that our competitors have in
places in which they are weak, go first. It will make no sense for any of our competitors to leave
Britain, for instance, that would not make sense. But for competitors to leave Holland or Belgium,
that would make sense. And obviously, adding up all these things could be a material benefit to
us because if we have less marketing pressure from competitors, our Google cost goes down,
we have a lot of CPO, et cetera, et cetera.
Now we're not counting on this because we don't influence what other people do. And I think it's
a bit of a misconception that everybody now needs to change their wage because if you have
enough money, you can burn that money. It's probably not the best thing to do for share price,
but it could. And therefore, it could continue sometimes the irrational behavior in certain
countries. That is possible. Generally, I do believe that, that's not sustainable everywhere, and
therefore, we should benefit from that.

BARCELONA, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Barcelona's city hall on Friday approved a total ban on so-called "dark stores" - distribution hubs used by companies that provide grocery home deliveries - joining other European cities such as Amsterdam that announced restrictions in 2022.

Such stores are like retail shops, but without any on-site sales, just deliveries from them. Delivery services expanded across Europe in recent years to meet soaring demand during the pandemic's lockdowns but have faced growing scrutiny from authorities because of their effects on neighbourhoods.

The ban by the left-wing Barcelona local government seeks to "preserve (traditional) neighbourhood stores and residents' quality of life", it said in a statement, arguing that dark stores' activities were causing excessive disturbance.

The ban will affect local delivery app Glovo - majority-owned by Germany's Delivery Hero - which has focused on the dark stores segment in recent years.

Glovo has eight such facilities in Barcelona, a spokesperson said, adding that the company will not comment on the ban until it has fully read the new regulation.

Turkey's grocery delivery service Getir, which has quickly expanded in Spain, did not respond to a request for comment.

UberEats does not have dark stores in Barcelona, a spokesperson said.
