    Mooi dat BAM daar een belang bij heeft. Het lijkt mij fascinerend om Antarctica ooit eens te bezoeken, via Ushuaia, de tijd zal het wel leren.

    Ik vraag mij af als B is voor bot, gewoon iets van AI en geen mens om te kijken als de aantallen postings betekenen meer hits naar de blad en meer reacties

    Voor 2026 meer info bij AGM maar willen huis bouwen uitbreiden en willen verder wat kleine overnamen doen als iets past .
    Wil ff wachten wat nieuwe kabinet op gang krijgt
    
    Ziekenhuis zegt ze niet veel over behalve is binnenkort af, er zijn opzicht geen projecten meer van vroeger met risk.

    The hospital’s development board said 1,900 rooms are compliant, 429 are in the process of being equipped and commissioned, with the contractor promising access to another 720 this month.
    The National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB) said Children’s Health Ireland (CHI), which is responsible for equipping the hospital, is nearing completion on a clinical clean and the installation of 5,000 pieces of medical, non-medical and ICT equipment in the 429 rooms it has been given access to.
    NPHDB, which is overseeing the construction project for the State, said building contractor BAM has already delayed its substantial completion date for the €2.24bn hospital 18 times in five years.
    The April 30 date was announced last week by Lucy Nugent, the chief executive of CHI. She added that commissioning the hospital could then take seven months.
    An opening date has not been specified, particularly given repeated delays, but it would be expected to be after next November.
    
    In 2016, then acting health minister Leo Varadkar said that “short of an asteroid hitting the planet”, the NCH would be built by 2020.
    The hospital’s spiralling cost, delays in its completion date and rows over who is to blame have dogged the project.
    Briefing documents for Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill consistently blamed BAM for pushing back the substantial completion date and delaying CHI’s early access to completed rooms.
    Last May and June, BAM provided a substantial completion date of September 30, 2025. However, the NPHDB’s representative wrote to BAM in July, demanding a “true and accurate” completion programme and a “realistic” date for completion”, one update states. The monthly updates also reported declining site productivity.
    “Despite a slight recent increase, NPHDB assesses that current staffing is insufficient to meet BAM’s schedule,” the update said.
    An October update noted that BAM would not meet the completion date because it was behind on completing rooms for inspection.
    According to the reports, BAM blamed design changes for pushing out the completion date again to November.
    NPHDB said this was not credible, as changes related to only 224 rooms.
    “BAM’s own defective work is far more impactful than any employer-instructed change,” the update said.
    A spokesperson for NPHDB said CHI was given “limited” partial early access to the hospital on December 19, allowing CHI to start work.
    “BAM has committed to delivering the next phase of early access at ground and lower ground levels, comprising an additional 720 rooms, in February, 2026,” the spokesperson said.
    More than 1,900 rooms have now reached completion standard and the “key focus” is on completing all rooms to the standard required.

    A spokesperson for BAM said it remains “fully committed to delivering this project to the highest standards, working closely with all stakeholders to complete the handover process and to secure the earliest possible opening date for the children of Ireland”.
    The project is “more than adequately resourced for this stage of completion, commissioning and handover”.
    The records were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
