Antonov is an independent developer of innovative and efficient automatic transmissions. The licence agreement, which is now in effect, provides for the world-wide use of such Antonov patents by Honda and its Group companies. In addition to the licence agreement, a separate Technical Services Agreement has been signed between Antonov and Honda R&D Company Limited. The business terms and conditions of the licence and the Technical Services Agreement, covering payments to Antonov and the specific technologies and potential applications concerned, are confidential between the parties. The relationship between Antonov and Honda, the major Japanese car company customer referred to in previous announcements, can be traced back to initial desk evaluation and simulation in 1992.
