TOKIO (AFN) - De machineorders in Japan zijn in april onverwacht flink gestegen. De orders dikten op maandbasis met 5,2 procent aan, terwijl economen in doorsnee juist op een daling met 0,8 procent hadden gerekend.
In april gingen de orders voor machines van Japanse makelij met 3,8 procent omhoog. Op jaarbasis was er in mei een orderstijging met 2,5 procent te zien. De consensus van economen lag op een orderkrimp van 5,3 procent. In april daalden de machineorders nog met 0,7 procent op jaarbasis.
