AutoStore Holdings Ltd. heeft Sumer Juneja en Vikas Parekh benoemd als nieuwe leden van de raad van bestuur met ingang van 20 april 2023. Vikas Parekh zal Sam Merksamer vervangen als medevoorzitter van de raad van bestuur. Het bedrijf heeft Edzard Overbeek benoemd als nieuw lid van de raad van bestuur met ingang van 20 april 2023, ter vervanging van Magnus Tornling die in september 2022 is afgetreden.

Opmaat voor uitstel 2030/2035?

Stellantis bereidt zich voor om synthetische brandstoffen toe te passen.

Op de middellange termijn lijkt elektrisch rijden voorlopig de toekomst te zijn. Qua laad-infrastructuur en aanbod qua voertuigen is het de enige reële optie voor als auto’s met een verbrandingsmotor keihard verboden zijn in de toekomst. In veel landen is 2030 of 2035 het moment dat ze niet meer verkocht mogen worden.

We zijn echt benieuwd hoe ze dat in Europa gaan regelen. Als je kijkt in Scandinavië en Nederland, dan is het redelijk voor elkaar en kunnen we misschien wel eerder overstappen. Maar in de rest van Europa is er een hoop werk te doen. Alsof er landen c.q. regio’s zijn die op zoek zijn naar een alternatief.
Stellantis bereidt zich voor

En dat lijkt er te komen met synthetische brandstoffen. Op dit moment is Stellantis zijn motoren aan het voor berieden hierop. Of alle motoren van Stellantis hieronder vallen, is niet duidelijk. het gaat in totaal om 28 verschillende motortypes, dus wel een hele hoop. Het gaat om zowel benzinemotoren als diesels.

Stellantis doet dit echter niet om de komst van de EV een halt toe te roepen. Het gaat erom dat de huidige motoren zo duurzaam mogelijk gebruikt zijn. Overigens betreft het niet alleen motoren die in de planning staan. Het is de bedoeling dat motorenfamilies vanaf 2014 geschikt zijn voor synthetische brandstoffen, aangezien die nu getest worden. Volgens Stellantis is het niet noodzakelijk om de brandfstofpomp te vervangen voor een een andere.

Aurora Innovation is still motoring on toward its target of commercializing self-driving trucks by 2024, ticking off waypoints and milestones along the way.

Aurora’s stock has suffered along with other mobility SPACs; its stock price debuted November 4, 2021 at $11.25 a share. Aurora stock has fallen 85% since then and was trading Monday at $1.46 a share

Push for more connected services features and eliminating the need for a data plan on the phone completely: Navigation will be pushed as a service in GM vehicles, thereby spurring more connected vehicle features. However, there are some valid doubts about how many customers will be willing to purchase this at a hefty price tag of US$ 599. This is a double-edged sword for them and might backfire. Consumers would expect navigation to be part of the infotainment device and charging them to use navigation and subscribe to a data package is where the issue will lie. Taking the data plan out of the consumer's mobile is going to be a difficult task for GM. At the same time, consumers do not want to pay up subscription charges for redundant features such as Google Maps on their phone vs Google Maps on their infotainment using GM's subscription plan.

Vandaag weer positie opgebouwd. De euforie na de cijfers is er weer uitgelopen maar de koers blijft mooi boven de EUR 7,50.
Berichten van Here en naderende bekendmaking van de nieuw OEM klant in de US kunnen de koers op korte termijn weer een boost geven naar 8,00-8,50.

Ja ja normaal als de RVC het gezien houdt met de CEO Overbeek, dan staat de opvolger klaar.

Dus binnen Here gaan ze nu zoeken naar een opvolger voor Overbeek.

all", maar wij denken dat er altijd ruimte zal zijn voor een goede nummer twee. Wie dan de nummer twee
is, Google of wij, dat zien we nog wel. Wij geloven niet in een model dat bij voorbaat alles naar de winnaar
gaat en dat we kansloos zijn, omdat die winnaar groter is en hele diepe zakken heeft. Dat is de boodschap
die we uitdragen.

maar ik heb wel het gevoel dat we op een goed pad zitten. Dat we, als gevolg van investeringen die we
hebben gemaakt van platformen en de strategische aanpak, een slimmer, effectiever bedrijfsmodel
hebben.

Zijn die gedachten van Harold ook des Here ?

Het zal de moeite waard zijn notulen AVA terug te lezen. Veel over de achterliggende strijd over WIE de standaard voor maps in automotiv-land gaat neerzetten. Hoorde in de wandelgangen twee zaken: 1 het rommelt zeer bij Here. Daar uit stappen voor investeerders is wel iets anders, " dat zullen ze niet zo gauw doen".
Verder beconcurreren Google en Apple elkaar op maps BUITEN automotiv!

HERE Heeft toch de meeste chinese OEM’s weten te scoren, ook BYD lees ik net

Einer meiner Highlights ist die App für die Navigation. Sie bietet schöne Grafiken, eine aufgeräumte Oberfläche und auch eine grafische Prozentanzeige für den zurückgelegten Weg während einer Wegführung. Gerade auf längeren Fahrten mit Kinden, wo gerne einmal die beliebte Frage „Wie weit fahren wir noch?“ kommt, kann diese sehr hilfreich sein. Einmal passierte es mir dafür, dass mich die Navigation auf eine für reguläre KFZs verbotene Busspur leiten wollte. Auf Vertrauen fahren, wie es mit Google Maps etwa möglich wären, würde hier also nicht immer gut gehen. Hier muss man aber auch dazu sagen, dass die Kartendaten von HERE stammen.

Unfortunately, the real world will not always conform to the Lucid Air's inferior navigation system. The company uses Here Maps rather than Google Maps(opens in a new tab) data, a fact that infuriates drivers on Lucid forums(opens in a new tab).
It's not just that the traffic data loads so slowly that you're usually committed to a route before you know all the options. It's that Here maps often seem woefully out of date and confused about road access.
I counted three times when the Lucid tried to send me the wrong way down a one-way street, and once — heading to a trailhead just outside of Berkeley — where it tried to divert me through a series of private roads, one of which was chained off.
The car's sense of privilege ran headlong into reality. Lucid Motors hasn't said when CarPlay or Android Auto are coming to the lineup. But given the crying need for Google Maps and more nuanced directions, it can't be soon enough

Als die in Europa geen TT heeft dan mist TT de boot als het gaat om de Chinese OEMs in de Europese markt (NIO, BYD, XPENG, etc.)
Zijn er maar een handjevol van verkocht, maar Huawei heeft er alles voor over om weer marktaandeel te krijgen in Europa, US is kansloos ivm de sancties
