Siegried Kaag is een intelligente en gewiekste mevrouw. Ze weet intuïtief wanneer ze ergens energie in moet steken of niet.
Volgens mij voelt Kaag intuïtief aan dat ze kansloos is om premier te worden. Want ze wilde heel heel graag. D66 staat er in de peilingen slecht voor.

Het kabinet wat nu komt gaat tegen hele grote problemen / horden aanlopen. D66 is een pappen en nathouden clubje. Vaak te elitair en te lui. Denk aan Terlouw en Hans van Mierlo. Altijd leuk en aardig, flamboyant en de indruk wekken dat ze goed bezig waren. Altijd op het juiste moment de juiste dingen zeggen en dat vervolgens achterover leunen. Maar geen deuk in een pak boter slaan. Kaag is niet veel beter.

Rutte toont in ieder geval lef. En haakte niet af om een futiliteit. Je weet dat als je minister bent (Kaag dus) dat je openbaar bezit bent. Idioten en extreme mensen zullen er altijd zijn. Kaag rationaliseert een reden om zonder veel kleerscheuren weg te gaan. Slimme diplomatieke methodes houdt ze er op na.

Het is het narcisme van deze tijd. Polarisatie in optima forma.
Beeldvormende creëren. Trump, Arje kuiken, Jesse Klaver, Geert Wilders maar ook dichter bij huis op de snelweg, op social media, in de grote steden……

Ik vrees dat je geen van de genoemde mensen goed genoeg kent om te constateren of ze lui zijn, pappen en nathouden, lef hebben, etc.

A truly local build: BAM completes Royal Cornwall Hospital’s new Scanning Suite and Haematology & Oncology Ward
Hemel Hempstead, 13 July 2023 - BAM joined the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust to celebrate the opening of the new Trelawny Scanning Suite and Haematology and Oncology Ward in Truro, almost three years to the day when building work started.

Royal Cornwall Hospital
Construction of the new extension to the Trelawny Wing is the culmination of over 250,000 person-hours, by 1,500 individuals. In alignment with BAM’s commitments to championing sustainability and supporting local communities, over 80 per cent of the construction workforce who delivered the project were from Devon and Cornwall.

The new Trelawny Scanning Suite has two state-of-the-art MRI scanners, four ultrasound rooms, in-bed waiting areas that are separated from outpatient areas, an observation area, and a generous anaesthetic room.

The stunning reception and waiting area is spacious and welcoming with a floor to ceiling mural and a dedicated waiting area for children, complete with an interactive play mat. The new reception also supports the existing, adjoining CT scanning department located right next door – bringing all the Trelawny Wing imaging services together.

Lowen Ward, the haematology and oncology ward at RCHT, is now in its ‘forever home’. It has expanded to 24 beds, six more than previously. Of these, there are twelve side rooms, eight of which are individually ventilated, which is vital for patients with a weakened immune system.

A peaceful palliative care suite with its own private courtyard garden provides a relaxing space for end-of-life care and a dedicated molecular radiotherapy suite also provides a calming environment for those cancer patients requiring specialist, isolated treatment. The Lowen unit also has a day assessment area enabling some patients using the 24-hour oncology care hotline to bypass the emergency department, and facilitating earlier discharge from the ward with ongoing ambulatory care.

Graham Kingdon, Construction Director for BAM, said: ‘We are very proud to have delivered this important suite expansion for the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust and for the people of Cornwall. The success of this scheme can be put down to the passion of our whole team, and the outstanding cooperation between all parties working on the project. More than 1,500 people have been involved in the construction; at the peak of the build, we had 130 people on site. We are very proud that 80% of our workforce came from Cornwall and Devon, 40% of whom live within a 25-mile radius of the site. BAM has a strong track record of working alongside RCHT, and I am also looking forward to continuing our relationship to deliver the new Women and Children’s Hospital in the coming years.’

Bryson Pottinger, Consultant Haematologist at RCHT and Clinical Lead for the project, said: ‘Our clinical teams in the Imaging Department and on Lowen Ward are thrilled to be in their new homes. We have always prided ourselves on the great care we give our patients, but this bespoke facility, designed and created with our patients and workforce in mind, takes that pride and care to the next level. It makes the unit a fantastic place to work and an outstanding place for patients to receive treatment. I believe we now have one of the best cancer facilities in the country and we hope it will also become a magnet for more clinical staff wishing to work with us here Cornwall.’

The new facility at the Trelawny Scanning Suite, which was completed on time and within budget, includes two MRI scanners, a 24-bed ward, and an ambulatory emergency care day unit. It will provide patients with cancer access to the latest diagnostic and treatment services in a modern environment.

The Royal Cornwall Hospital was opened in Treliske by Princess Alexandra on July 12, 1968. Services were later relocated from the Royal Cornwall Infirmary to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in the mid-1990s. The Trelawny Wing was completed in 1998 at a cost of £27m.

The extension to the Trelawny Wing took over 250,000 work hours by 1,500 employees. In line with BAM’s dedication to promoting sustainability and aiding local communities, over 80% of the construction workforce responsible for the project came from Devon and Cornwall.

A host of cutting-edge equipment has been added to the wing
The Trelawny Scanning Suite features two state-of-the-art MRI scanners, four ultrasound rooms, in-bed waiting areas, an observation area, and a spacious anaesthetic room.

The reception and waiting area of the Trelawny Scanning Suite features a floor-to-ceiling mural and a dedicated area designed specifically for children. The new reception area blends in with the adjacent CT scanning department, tying all the imaging services in the wing together.

The Lowen haematology and oncology ward at RCHT has expanded, now accommodating 24 beds, an increase of six beds from before, with 12 of these being side rooms and eight featuring individual ventilation. This is a crucial feature for patients with compromised immune systems.

The Lowen unit features a private courtyard garden for end-of-life care. There is also a dedicated molecular radiotherapy suite for cancer patients needing specialised, isolated treatment.

The unit also includes a day assessment area that allows patients to use the 24-hour oncology care hotline to bypass the emergency department. This will lead to earlier discharges and enable ongoing ambulatory care.

De werkzaamheden aan het nieuwe hoofdkwartier van Defensie starten eind dit jaar. Het gebouw wordt opgetrokken tegenover het NAVO-hoofdkwartier in Brussel, deels op het terrein van de oude NAVO-site en deels op het huidige kwartier Koningin Elisabeth.

Het consortium "Be Defence" zal het nieuwe hoofdkwartier van Defensie bouwen. Met de opdracht is een totaalbedrag van 499 miljoen euro gemoeid.

Het nieuwe hoofdkwartier van Defensie komt tegenover het NAVO-hoofdkwartier in Brussel, deels op het terrein van de oude NAVO-site en deels op het huidige kwartier Koningin Elisabeth.

De groepering "Be Defence" bestaat uit de aannemers BAM, Jan De Nul, Eiffage en Cegelec, de architectenkantoren Assar Architects, ArtBuild en ANMA en het studiebureau VK Architects+Engineers. De 499 miljoen euro omvat de initiële investering en 2 jaar onderhoud. Het consortium staat in voor het ontwerp, de realisatie en het technisch onderhoud van de infrastructuur.

Volgens de planning starten de werkzaamheden eind 2024. Tegen eind 2027 moet het grootste deel van het hoofdkwartier klaar voor gebruik zijn.

Wat is duidelijk is dat veel geld zal nog ontvangen- hoeveel is onbekend maar belangrijker is hoe het tot nu toe is berekend.

Joosten is bescheiden en wil positive verassen - vraag is hoe heeft Bam gerekend tot nu toe, ik kan niet voorstellen dat dit ( alles ) komt boven op, ik name het aan dat Bam een bepaalde delen heeft al gerekend in de ebidta

Het is nu een politieke spel en je moet goed lezen en begrijpen wat de politiek zegt, geeft een scheve beeld
