Beursupdate: AEX op Wall Street

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Op Wall Street zijn vrijdag acht van de negen AEX-genoteerde fondsen ten opzichte van het slot in Amsterdam hoger gesloten.

Op basis van de bovenstaande koersuitslagen zou de AEX index, die sloot op 545,16 punten, zijn geëindigd op 547,09 punten.

Zie ik daar een BULLISH ENGULFING patroon voorbijkomen? Dat betekend meestal dat de downtrend onderbroken wordt. En dat we dus weer omhoog gaan.

ArcelorMittal, Nucor increase plate prices by $40/st

US steelmakers ArcelorMittal and Nucor have increased steel plate prices by $40/short ton (st), the second price increase in the last month.

Both companies have increased prices by $80/st since 19 May, when ArcelorMittal, Nucor and SSAB announced the first $40/st price increases.

Market participants expect SSAB to follow later today. Few believe the price increase will stick given low demand in the market.

Spot prices for plate were heard at $580/st delivered for the week ending 9 June.

In a sign of the state of the steel plate market, heavy equipment manufacturer Caterpillar, a major plate consumer, said its May sales in North America were down by 36pc year-over-year, a higher rate of decline compared to the 27pc decrease in April and 20pc decrease in March.

Sales in Caterpillar's resource industries division in North America were down by 39pc in May, fell by 30pc in April, and were down by 26pc in March. Sales of construction equipment in North America were down by 35pc in May, by 26pc in April, and fell by 18pc March.

The Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders of ArcelorMittal (“General Meetings”) held today approved all resolutions by a strong majority.

Luxembourg 13 June 2020 (13:00 CET) – 68% of the voting rights were represented at the General Meetings. In view of the Covid-19 outbreak, the Board of Directors of ArcelorMittal (the “Company”) had decided to hold this year’s General Meetings by virtual-only format, as permitted by Luxembourg law. Arrangements were made to allow shareholders to vote electronically and by proxy voting. The results of the votes will be posted shortly on www.arcelormittal.com under "Investors – Equity investors – Shareholders-events – AGM – Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders, 13 June 2020" where the full documentation regarding the General Meetings is available.

In particular, the shareholders:

approved the re-election of Lakshmi N. Mittal, Mr. Bruno Lafont, Mr. Michel Wurth and the election of Mr. Aditya Mittal and Mr. Etienne Schneider as directors of ArcelorMittal, for a term of three years each;
decided to increase the authorised share capital of the Company and change the Articles of Association accordingly.

gaat dit resulteren in een lagere opening maandag of was dit al bekent en is dus ingeprijst ?

Denk zelf dat de koers eerst word Opgepompt naar hogere regionen, vervolgens 1 voor de prijs van 2 of 3 en vervolgens een emissie waarna we weer lagere regionen gaan opzoeken. Zo worden we vakkUndig van ons geld af geholpen.

Ik geloof nooit zo in de term “ ingeprijsd” maar wie weet.
