Open een draadje en vertel alles wat je denkt, en als het interessant lijkt ga ik meedenken.
Pyro heeft me drie maanden aan napluizen gekost..

Wat verwachten we als nieuws omtrent de verkopen van TiAl poeder, en het toekomstige beleid/plan van Pyro in deze business?

Ik verwacht dat er meerdere orders zijn voor proefaankopen, en dat de verwachting van de directie is dat de jaarproductie binnen enkele maanden verkocht zal zijn.
Er wordt medegedeeld dat ze in onderhandeling zijn met een multinational over verder gebruik en toepassing van deze speciale techniek (zoals de deal met HPQ).

Of: Er wordt medegedeeld dat ze nog twee/drie plasma atomizers gaan bouwen.
Dat laatste verwacht ik niet omdat ze onvoldoende productiemiddelen / personeel / en vermogen hebben om dit nu in eigen beheer te doen.

Opsplitsen van het bedrijf zie ik ook niet gebeuren omdat de know-how in handen is van enkele personen.

Mogelijke partners voor de toekomst; Alcoa, Siemens, AMG.

Wat ook vaak gebeurt in dit soort gevallen is dat een grote klant de machines voorfinanciert, welke met productie (poeder) wordt afbetaald. Als de eerste machine een succes wordt, zullen ze vrij snel volgende machines moeten bouwen (in mijn beleving).

Geen idee. Ik heb geen inzicht in hoe ze die eerste machine bouwen. Als de eerste klaar is, is de tweede gemakkelijker ... waarom zouden ze daar nieuw personeel voor nodig hebben ? Maar uiteindelijk draait het natuurlijk om de vraag hoe snel en hoeveel de markt de poeders afneemt. Met zo'n voorfinanciering constructie ben je in ieder geval zeker van een stuk afname, wat het risico weer inperkt. We wachten de update af.

Het feit dat ze op het punt staan om goud te produceren, en dus omzet en cashflow gaan maken. Veel institutionele beleggers mogen pas positie nemen in goud gerelateerde bedrijven als ze daadwerkelijk goud produceren ... dat zal dus binnenkort gaan gebeuren.

Even een tijdelijke terugval, nieuwe investeringen volgen voor het bouwen van meerdere systemen.
Ik verwacht dat deze nieuwe systemen binnen een maand of acht volledig operationeel zijn.

With 99.85% of the vote in favor, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, LLP, chartered accountants, were appointed auditors of the Corporation for the ensuing year.

UPDATE ON ONGOING SILICON METAL PURITY TESTING

On June 2, 2017, PyroGenesis Canada Inc ("PyroGenesis") submitted to HPQ a Technical Memo entitled "Analysis options for characterization of silicon products for PUREVAPtm", as mention in our May 16, 2017 PR.

As a result of this review, HPQ and PyroGenesis have now approved a new testing protocol to be used going forward for the Silicon Metal produce by the PUREVAP™ QRR. The new testing protocol will first assess the homogeneity of the silicon phase by Scanning Electron Microscope - Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM-EDS) in back scattering mode before any destructives test are completed. While the addition of this step increases the time before we get any results above 3N+ purity, this step was deemed critical in assessing sample purity level.

Once these results have been analyzed, the material will be sent to a third-party laboratory for either Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry (GDMS) testing or Inductively-Coupled-Plasma Mass-Spectrometry (ICP - MS) testing and in some case even both.

Testing for the purity of some of the material produced using lower quality feedstock (test #54 to #74) and some material produced using high Purity Quartz (99.5% SiO2) (Test #75 and above), but still using the old set-up of the PUREVAP™ QRR, have begun this week.
