IPO van ADS-en: wat betekent dat precies?

"Voxeljet plans to offer 6.5m American Depositary Shares (84% primary, 14% secondary) at US$13-$15 each via lead underwriters Piper Jaffray and Citigroup. Each ADS is equivalent to one-fifth of an ordinary share. A pricing date is still to be set but the deal appears likely to price in the next few weeks"

Wat zijn ADS'en precies? Is het een openbare inschrijving ergo kan je daar als NL-er op inschrijven?

Denk dat het lastig wordt om daar als Nederlander op in te schrijven. Als het goed is kan je die dingen toch gewoon in Duitsland kopen ?

Bedankt voor de reactie en het artikel.

ik heb de indruk dat voxeljet niet genoteerd is in Duitsland, ik kan er bij deutsche borse niets over vinden. Ik neem aan dat de IPO in de US de eerste beursgang is.

Heb ook even gekeken en denk dat je gelijk hebt wat betreft die eerste beursgang. Succes met 3-D printing :)
