Ook Schotland en Wales houden hun hart vast:

The first ministers of Scotland and Wales, Nicola Sturgeon and Mark Drakeford, joined forces to warn the new PM – who has pledged to take the UK out of the EU “do or die” – that such an approach would have “catastrophic consequences”.

They also used their letter to Mr Johnson to argue that a “significant shift” is needed in relations between Westminster and the devolved administrations – calling for their governments in Edinburgh and Cardiff to be given “proper respect”.

Heb het Ierse standpunt boven doorgegeven. Ierland staat centraal in Brexit.

Heb even gekeken. Mokerslag voor Ierse economie(no deal) en hernieuwing burgeroorlog. Bom onder het Goedevrijdagakkoord.
De Ierse economie is niet het pakkie van het VK. Noord-Ierland is uiteraard een groot probleem. De heethoofden in Noord-Ierland willen dat ze verenigt worden met Ierland en wijzen een harde grens af. Johnson wil een grens met camera s en geen slagbomen. Ook weer opgelost.

Het ontbreekt er nog aan dat Marine le Pen en de AfD het ook nog redden.

Bij BOJO kan men hopen dat hij Farage/Bannon af blijft wijzen. De tijd zal het snel leren.
De UK valt eventueel wel uit elkaar.

Boris Johnson has set up a “war cabinet” to deliver Brexit “by any means necessary” by October 31 as a senior cabinet minister warned that there was “now a very real prospect” of no deal.

In a dramatic shift Michael Gove, the minister responsible for no-deal preparations, said the government was “working on the assumption” that Brussels would not strike a fresh agreement. This morning Rishi Sunak, the new chief secretary to the Treasury, said ministers were “turbo-charging” no-deal preparations.

In a Whitehall revolution, Johnson will make every decision on Brexit policy with a team of just six senior ministers — all of them Brexiteers who support no deal.
