UAE dealership wins five awards from Jaguar Land Rover
Dubai, May 06, 2012: Al Tayer Motors ' Land Rover showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road has been certified as the highest selling showroom for Range Rover vehicles worldwide for 2011-12, by Jaguar Land Rover Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP).
The showroom received a special recognition certificate from Jaguar Land Rover MENAP at a regional dealer meet held in Beirut recently. The UAE dealership won the accolade for the fifth time, having won it previously each year from 2006 to 2008, and for 2010.
Al Tayer Motors also won five awards from Jaguar Land Rover, the most by any dealer in the regional network, for 2011-12. They include Dealer of the Year, Top Sales Dealer for Land Rover, Top Sales Dealer for Jaguar, Top Aftersales Dealer for Jaguar and Best Marketing of the Year for Jaguar and Land Rover. Earlier, Al Tayer Motors ' Basel Asfari won the 'Marketer of the Year' 2011-12 award for his work on both brands.
"It is a great achievement for us to be setting standards of excellence not just for sales but importantly for after-sales, as well as marketing for Jaguar and Land Rover within the region. Winning the overall dealer of the year award within the Jaguar and Land Rover regional network is a testimony to our efforts on behalf of both brands in the UAE," said Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, Al Tayer Motors .
Continuing the success, combined sales for Jaguar and Land Rover models in the UAE in Q1 2012 increased by 40% over Q1 2011 reflecting the healthy appeal of these iconic motoring brands, their stellar model line-up and the high quality of services provided by the dealership.
