Enfin, goed nieuws dat er onder de liberals eindelijk mensen zijn die zoiets durven te zeggen. Jammer dat ze het pas achteraf doen.
De NYT is voorzover ik weet ook het enige medium dat zijn excuses heeft aangeboden - ook pas weer lang erna - dat ze geen goed nieuws hadden gegeven in de aanloop naar de inval in Irak:

Ook wat betreft de Sicherheitsstaat ("One Nation Under Surveillance") die de V.S. is geworden, kwam de NYT er achteraf (!) voor uit dat ze aan de leiband had gelopen van de heersende machten:
