De belangrijkste aspecten in het voordeel van kernenergie zijn onnoemelijk groot.

Het land, ONS MOOIE NEDERLAND, wordt er door gevrijwaard van het opgeven van zijn levend land aan de onnoemelijke hoeveelheid zonneweiden en windmolens en wat er verder zoal als, zowel afzichtelijk, als plaats in beslag nemend op het transitie programma staat.

Naast deze materiele schade aan de omgeving krijgen we te maken met de schade aan de GEZONDHEIDHEID. Meer en meer worden de schadelijke gevolgen voor mens en dier duidelijk.

Wat mij betreft zouden deze schadelijke effecten aan de GEZONDHEID op de eerst plaats thuis horen.

Een regering mag de bevolking daar NOOIT aan blootstellen.

Het niet op de agenda zetten van de energie voorziening middels kernenergie is onhoudbaar.

Joe Biden Unveils New Climate Plan

US presidential candidate Joe Biden has unveiled a proposal to transform the US's energy industry, pledging to eliminate carbon pollution from power plants by 2035 and spend USD 2 trillion to turbocharge the clean energy economy. The plan would significantly reduce the country's reliance on fossil fuels, and the 15-year timeline for a 100 percent clean electricity standard is far more ambitious than anything Biden has previously proposed. Here are 9 key elements of Joe Biden’s plan for a Clean Energy Revolution and Environmental Justice:

1) Take executive action on Day 1 to not just reverse all of the damage Trump has done, but go further and faster. Day 1 of the Biden Administration is going to be very busy! To immediately make progress on his climate agenda, Biden will take actions including requiring aggressive methane pollution limits for new and existing oil and gas operations; developing rigorous new fuel economy standards aimed at ensuring 100% of new sales for light- and medium-duty vehicles will be zero emissions and annual improvements for heavy duty vehicles; protecting America’s natural treasures by permanently protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and other areas impacted by President Trump’s attack on federal lands and waters; and banning new oil and gas leasing on public lands and waters.

2) Work with Congress to enact in 2021, President Biden’s first year in office, legislation that, by the end of his first term, puts us on an irreversible path to achieve economy-wide net-zero emissions no later than 2050. The legislation must require polluters to bear the full cost of the carbon pollution they are emitting.

3) Rally the world to urgent and additional action. We know we cannot solve this emergency on our own: the United States accounts for only 15% of global emissions. On Day 1, Biden will rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement. But we must go further. In his first 100 days in office, Biden will convene a climate world summit to directly engage the leaders of the major greenhouse gas-emitting nations of the world to persuade them to join the United States in making more ambitious national pledges, above and beyond the commitments they have already made. Biden will not allow other nations, including China, to game the system by becoming destination economies for polluters, undermining our climate efforts and exploiting American workers and businesses.

4) Make a historic investment in clean energy and innovation. Biden will invest $400 billion over ten years, as one part of a broad mobilization of public investment, in clean energy and innovation. That investment is twice the investment of the Apollo program which put a man on the moon, in today’s dollars. He will also establish ARPA-C, a new research agency focused on accelerating climate technologies.

5) Accelerate the deployment of clean technology throughout our economy. Creating the best, most innovative clean technology in the world is not enough. We also need to make sure it is used by households and industry in order to achieve aggressive emissions reductions. Biden will set a target of reducing the carbon footprint of the U.S. building stock 50% by 2035, creating incentives for deep retrofits that combine appliance electrification, efficiency, and on-site clean power generation. He will work with our nation’s governors and mayors to support the deployment of more than 500,000 new public charging outlets by the end of 2030. And, Biden will ensure our agricultural sector is the first in the world to achieve net-zero emissions, and that our farmers earn income as we meet this milestone.

6) Make environmental justice a priority across all federal agencies. Everyone is already feeling the effects of climate change. But the impacts of climate change (and inaction on climate change) – on health, economics, and overall quality of life – are far more acute on communities of color, tribal lands, and low-income communities. The coronavirus pandemic, which early data suggests is linked to air pollution that disproportionately affects communities of color and low-income communities, is shining new light on this reality. Biden will make it a priority for all federal agencies — and hold them accountable for results — to engage in community-driven approaches to develop solutions for environmental injustices affecting communities of color, low-income communities, and indigenous communities.

7) Hold polluters accountable. On Day 1, Biden will require public companies to disclose climate-related financial risks and the greenhouse gas emissions in their operations and supply chains. In his first year, he’ll work to enact legislation requiring polluters to bear the full cost of their climate pollution. But that’s not all: Biden will direct his EPA and Justice Department to pursue these cases to the fullest extent permitted by law and, when needed, seek additional legislation to hold corporate executives personally accountable – including jail time when merited. Allowing corporations to continue to pollute – affecting the health and safety of both their workers and surrounding communities – without consequences perpetuates an egregious abuse of power. These companies must be accountable to the American people, the communities where they operate, and the workers they employ.

8) Create 10 million good-paying, middle-class, union jobs. Every federal dollar spent on rebuilding our infrastructure during the Biden Administration will be used to prevent, reduce, and withstand the impacts of this climate crisis. American workers should build American infrastructure and manufacture all the materials that go into it, and all of these workers must have the option to join a union and collectively bargain. Biden will ensure his infrastructure legislation incorporates labor provisions so federal investments create millions of middle-class jobs, benefiting workers across industries.

9) Fulfill our obligation to the communities and workers that have risked their lives to produce fossil fuels that made it possible for America to win world wars and become an industrial power. Biden will stand with communities and workers impacted by the changing energy market, including by increasing coal companies’ payments into the black lung benefits program, reforming the black lung benefits system so it is no longer rigged in favor of coal companies who can hire lawyers and doctors to ensure miners’ benefits are denied, expanding efforts to help miners detect black lung cases earlier and access care, and enforcing regulations to reduce cases of black lung in the first place. Biden will also establish a task force to help these communities access federal investments and leverage private sector investments to help create high-paying union jobs based upon the unique assets of each community, partner with unions and community colleges to create training opportunities for these new jobs, repair infrastructure, keep public employees like firefighters and teachers on the payroll, and keep local hospitals open.

EDP Anticipates Closure of Coal Plants in Portugal & Spain

The decision is part of EDP's decarbonisation strategy, which involves the early closure of plants in the Iberian Peninsula. In addition to Sines, the company is preparing to close one more plant and convert another unit in Spain. EDP will anticipate the closure of coal plants in the Iberian Peninsula and is preparing theforesees respective requests for the plant in Sines and for unit 3 in Soto de Ribera. In Aboño, also in Spain, a project is underway to convert the plant, which the replacement of coal by steel gases in the coming years. In the case of the Sines power plant, a declaration of waiver of the license of production was handed in to the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology so that it can shut down its activity in January 2021.

The decision, part of EDP group's decarbonisation strategy, was taken in a context in which energy production increasingly depends on renewable sources. In addition, with the increasing cost of coal production and the rising price of CO2 emission licenses, coupled with a worsening tax burden and with the increased competitiveness of natural gas, the prospects for the viability of coal plants have drastically decreased. An example of that is the activity of the Sines power plant, which has been halted since January 25, after a year in which the generation of electric energy from coal fell about 50% compared to 2018.

In view of this trend, EDP thus begins the process of closing the largest Portuguese thermoelectric plant (1180 MW of power) after 35 years in operation. The Sines power plant will still sell on the market the energy produced by burning the coal that remains in stock - and only then will it proceed with the decommissioning and dismantling of the plant.

EDP is now evaluating the development of a green hydrogen production project in Sines, in consortium with other companies. Part of a plan of common European interest and with potential for export by sea, this alternative under study for the production of a clean energy source may represent a new cycle for the region and for the national economy.

It is also expected that, through the Fund for Just Transition, the region can benefit from support that promotes the training of specialized professionals and the creation of qualified jobs in the region. EDP is also committed to fulfill all labor obligations towards the 107 workers at the plant and to ensure that the region can benefit from the support provided for in the Just Transition Fund, in order to create and reconvert jobs in that region.

Over Friends of Science

Friends of Science (FoS) was founded in 2002 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
On their website, they describe claims of anthropogenic influence on the climate as “weak science” and decry public policies founded on that information.
They also describe the belief in those causes as “cult indoctrination” and those who support it as “religionists.”
On the most basic level, a reputable organization advocating science would not resort to name calling for anyone who disagrees.

There are other clues that FoS isn’t all it claims to be, in the form of receiving money from petroleum companies.
In 2006, Charles Montgomery published an exposé for Globe and Mail, illustrating the money to be made and the political power to be had in perpetuating the rumor that the scientific community hasn’t come to a consensus.
If voters aren’t confident in the science, they can be persuaded. Most importantly, there’s no way to regulate what the claims of people like those from FoS. They can spread as many fallacies as they want, and there’s not a lot that can be done about it.

FoS releases articles describing current research in climate change, and they may speak to groups or get on TV, but it isn’t put through the scrutiny of peer review. That review process is a critical part of scientific integrity, but is lacking in the claims of FoS.
It’s a lot easier to say whatever you want when nobody is checking your work over to ensure it is accurate or done in good faith.

At the end of the day, which group seems like the one with the agenda? The diverse group of the majority of scientists from around the world who collect and interpret data under limited budgets and who just so happen to agree on several major points? Or the group with ties to the petroleum industry that admits to pushing a particular slant on scientific data that is advocating against environmentally-responsible policy, which would hurt said petroleum industry?

- De desorptie en absorptie van CO2 uit onze oceanen gebeurt onder invloed van de variaties in de oceanen-oppervlaktewater temperaturen en de variaties in de barometrische drukken aan de oceanen oppervlaktewateren, dus H2CO3 concentraties varieren aan de Oceanen Oppervlakte wateren afhankelijk van temperatuur en druk.

- Echter wat van enorm veel grotere en enorm veel belangrijkere invloed is op ons Oceanen Leven en op de wereldwijde productie van O2 = zuurstof, voor meer als waarschijnlijk +60 % van alle zuurstof vorming, is de effecten van CO2 als absorptie-voedsel voor fytoplankton.

- Opwellende fytoplankton uit de zeer koude zoute Diepzee Oceanen Stromingen komend van de Antarctica- en Artic Ocean- koude diepzee stromingen, absorberen CO2 als voedsel onder invloed fotosynthese aan de oceanenoppervlakte wateren en excremeren daarbij gevormd CaCO3, en produceren daarbij tevens Chlorofyl en O2 = zuurstof als afval.
- CaCO3 = calcite en de na enkele dagen afstervende, niet door vissen geconsumeerde, fytoplankton zakt naar de diepzee en of produceert mede daardoor nieuwe koraal-riffen in "laag (3 à 5 meter diep) relatief koud" oceanen oppervlakte water, b.v. bij de Great Barrier Reef Corrals.

- De Great Barrier.Reef Corrals herstellen altijd bij voldoende aanwezigheid van fytoplankton uit de opwellende koude Artic Ocean en Antarctica diepzee stromingen.

- Dit gebeurt in de Pacifique Ocean het best bij koude zoute Al Nina Oost-West wind- en zee- Stromingen langs de evenaar en dit herstel duurt gemiddeld tussen de 3 à 5 jaar.

- Ook in de Atlantische Ocean vinden dit soort koude zoute stromingen, komend uit de Artic Oceaan en Antartica diepzee plaats, rond de evenaar en +/- 15 breedte graden, dat gebeurt tijdens de koude oceanen oppervlaktewateren koudere jaren zonder veel hurricanes en/of zware stormen vormingen rond de evenaar +/- 15 graden zuider en noorder-breedte, ruwweg na ongeveer 1.5 of 2 jaar, nadat één warme El Nino wind- en oppervlaktewater west-oost stroming in de Pacifische Ocean heeft plaatsgevonden.
- Dit is tevens de start van de nieuwe koude oost-west Al Nina stroming langs de evenaar.

- Fytoplankton zijn de grootste bron van O2 = Zuurstof productie van Planeet Aarde en zijn dus in werkelijkheid de "echte longen" van Planeet Aarde voor ruwweg 60 %, bij mijn beste weten.
De Amazone is slechts voor ruwweg 20 % belangrijk als "de longen" van Planeet Aarde.

- Het is voor Planeet Aarde van het allergrootste overlevingsbelang, dat er maximaal fytoplankton in onze koude zoute oceanenstromingen aanwezig zijn en gevormd worden, voor CO2 als voedsel-absorptie fytoplankton en O2 = zuurstof productie, voor dier en mens!

- Pesticiden en Insecticiden zijn de grootste boosdoeners voor zover mij bekend, die fytoplankton vorming belemmeren en dus de O2 = zuurstof vorming planeet aarde kunnen verminderen en tevens de CO2 voedsel-absorptie door fytoplankton van Planeet Aarde kunnen verminderen en tevens het koraalriffen herstel zullen verminderen.

- Fytoplankton is dus nog vele malen belangrijker als bomen en planten voor CO2 absorptie-voedsel via fotosynthese en O2 = zuurstof als afvalproduct.

- De longen van onze Planeet Aarde zijn dus in werkelijkheid voor ruwweg 60 % hoofdzakelijk onze koude zoute diepzee Oceanen via fytoplankton en fotosynthese aan de oceanen oppervlaktewateren, echter bomen en planten zijn nog steeds de resterende 40 % benodigd voor de O2 = zuurstof vorming.

- De gevormde Chlorofyl door fytoplankton en fotosynthese en tevens onder invloed sterke turbulentie oceanen oppervlakte-wateren, vallen boven de oceanen oppervlakte-wateren onder invloed van zonlicht echter weer snel uit elkaar en nemen dus niet toe in onze atmosfeer.
Note: Chlorofyl is één zeer complexe chemische "instabiele" verbinding en valt onder invloed zonlicht snel uit elkaar in onze atmosfeer.

Wellicht belangrijk te weten is;
- Dat Koraalriffen zoals de Great Barier Reef Corrals, onder invloed van laag/ondiep warm water verbleken en kapot gaan, dit door de impact van de hete zonlicht penetratie, dat doordringt/schijnt op de ondiepe in warm water zijnde koraalriffen, dit gebeurt altijd tijdens ieder hoogtepunt van de 11-jarige zonne-activiteit cyclus, waarbij tevens in de Indische en Pacifische Oceanen warme west-oost EL-Nino wind- en oppervlaktewater- stromingen plaats vinden gedurende 1.5 of 2 jaar, die het oceaan oppervlaktewater bij de Great Barrier Reef Corrals doet dalen met ruwweg 2 meter, waardoor het warme oceaanwater boven de koraal zeer ondiep wordt en het hete zonlicht makkelijk penetreert op de koraal en dat is volgens mij, de voornaamste oorzaak van de Great Barrier Reef Corrals Bleaching.

- Ik denk persoonlijk dat in de zeer warme koraalriffen lage/ondiepe oppervlaktewateren de CO2 desorbeert en vrij komt uit de H2CO3 moleculen en dat verzuring van de oceanen tijdens de warme laag water hete zonnepenetratie boven de Great Barrier Reef Corrals niet plaatsvind, echter CO2 komt vrij en komt weer in onze atmosfeer boven het oppervlakte water bij één pH van ruwweg 8.1 à 8.2, is basisch.

Gokker, met zekerheid is uit puur overleving-eigenbelang er geen enkele belangstelling om PEER-REVIEW te doen van kritische wetenschappelijke klimaat Artikelen van kritische CO2-Klimaat en kritische CO2 Global Warming Wetenschappers, de "zogenaamde ontkenners".

Dit is niet gewenst door de Besturen en Professoren van Universiteiten, aangezien dit wordt gezien als Politiek niet Correct, betrouwbaarheid Overheden in vrage stellen = hoe durft U te twijfelen aan ons Wetenschappers, aan onze Overheid, aan IPCC, NOAA, United Nations, enzv.

Dit is voor mij sinds enkele jaren nu de voornaamste REDEN om sterk te twijfelen aan de Betrouwbaarheid van wetenschappelijke artikelen van Professoren en Studenten aan Universiteiten.

Volgens mij is de Copy/Paste bij vele wetenschappelijke artikelen normaal en is de zogenaamde Universitaire Peer-Review te vaak te tijd consumerend en dus denk ik vrij zwak en /of gebeurt wellicht zelfs niet!

Bovendien wordt je geacht als toekomstig Prof. en/of benoemd Prof. de opinie van je Universiteits-Bestuur uit te dragen, enzv.

Ik heb sindsdien mijn serieuze twijfels over de kostbare bezigheids-therapien aan alle Universiteiten wereldwijd.

Voor 3 à 4 jaar had ik altijd enorm respect voor alle Universiteiten en Wetenschappers, dit door mijn zeer intensieve werkzaamheden in de Engineering en Ontwerp-wereld en had ik nooit twijfel aan wetenschappers werkzaam puur op Universiteiten, sorry, maar dit is de laatste jaren compleet veranderd en sindsdien ben ik kritisch over iedere vage / incomplete studie / ik twijfel dus inderdaad regelmatig aan de Integriteit van onze Universiteiten/Wetenschappers/enzv.

Jammer, maar helaas mijn realiteit.
