Crucell/Berna maakt zelf geen flu antigen, maar koopt ze elders in, en verpakt ze mooi in virosomen.

Ik denk dat Crucell het niet zou zijn gelukt om op relatief korte termijn 1) van een fabrikant H1N1 antigen te kopen (zelfs niet Adimmune), en 2) dit ook nog in te bouwen in de virosomen, en dit dan op tijd klaar te hebben voor de inentingscampagnes.

(Wel heeft Crucell blijkbaar op beperkte schaal H1N1 vaccins van Adimmune gedistribueerd in Azie)

Ik vermoedt eigenlijk dat Crucell hier naar zijn positie praat. Als ze WEL in staat waren gebleken om op tijd H1N1 virosome Inflexal te maken, hadden ze het (terecht) WEL ge-adverteerd, zeker als het, net als de gewone Inflexal, geen kwik en aluminium had bevat.

Als ik het goed heb dan heeft Crucell een 12% participatie in AdImmune (of is het 20% ?).
Heeft AdImmune 'met steun van Crucell' een fabriek gebouwd die antigens en vaccine H1N1 aanmaakt. Volgens recent artikel treedt Crucell op als 'globaal verdeler' van het AdImmune H1N1 vaccine.

Niet onbelangrijk:
Met aan zekerheid grenzende waarscheinlijkheid zal het A(H1N1) virustype tot de volgende seizoensgriepvariant behoren en wordt antigens voor Crucell aangemaakt door AdImmune (nu nog door CSL). Imo goede leerschool voor AdImmune en bank vooruit voor Crucell (albeit Brus or Cees, whatever comes first...).

Weet jij ook wanneer AdImmune antigens aan Crucell gaat leveren? Uit AdImmune berichten maak ik op dat AdImmune ook kompleet vaccine aan Crucell wenst te leveren. Is dat het Inflexal vaccine of gaat het hier om distributie van het AdImmune eigen vaccine?

Maw. Goed in het oog (ook hoofd) houden die Aziaten!

Door de recente H1N1 distributie berichten vermoed ik nu ook dat Crucell als wereldwijde distributeur (ex-Taiwan) gaat optreden van zowel AdImmune's huidige (simpele) flu vaccins (zowel seizoens- als pandemisch), alswel van hun toekomstige Inflexal vaccins. Maar ik weet niets.

Uit het AdImmune draadje (je weet het wel te vinden zeker?):

In March 2007, the ADI signed an agreement with the Dutch biotech company Crucell for technology transfer. Under the agreement, influenza vaccines manufactured by the ADI will be sold in 43 countries.

Besides, with the technology transfer, the ADI can enhance its vaccine production standards, paving the way for the production of avian influenza vaccines, said the ADI.

Once the plant is finished, the ADI will be capable of producing 23 million doses of H5N1 avian influenza vaccines in six months in order to satisfy domestic demand, if there is outbreak of the the deadly virus, said Chan.

But Ronald, Leon and Oya...make sure you party up, and put it on Crucell's tab as a business expense, like you always do. All you have to do is mention the word "Crucell" at any meal and vacation, and you can write it off as a business expense. We know you know how.

Hey, this is such a great list, every time one of the pumpers start talking smack, we can just whip this list out to show how the talk of management doesn't mean squat. It is such a great list, because it shows that everything Brus has been talking about for the past 5 years has failed or been BS from the start.

I'll just adding to it and update the promises of management through 2009.

Just like the "potential of the J+J deal in excess of 1 billion dollars" doesn't mean squat. How do we really know Brus is just blowing smoke...because he hasn't released any real details of the deal...only his version. c'mon Ronald, let's see the provisions that will give Crucell 1 billion dollars so we can decide for ourselves. Same thing with Wyeth. You won't because it will now prove that it doesn't say that...or only if you twist it and blow it up....or stretch it out over 30 years.
